She's never going back to the senate. Once she decides to tender a formal apology letter, all her misconduct and lawlessness will be re-evaluated again by Senate Committee on Ethics.

This case must be in court because it has assumed a criminal dimension of assassinating the character and destroying the credibility of the Senate President. There was a criminal motive from the outset.

I seriously doubt Mr Akpabio has any credibility. But that's just me and I may be wrong though.

Why is Akpabio blocking the investigation by sitting as a judge in a case he's involved in?

Apabio will be a witness in the case, Natasha's lawyers will cross examine Apabio in view of the accusations and evidences presented against Apabio and in favor of Apabio.

Natasha will also be cross examined by Mrs Apabio's lawyers. Natasha has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Apabio has been sexually harassing her.

What she's saying is that she never instituted any sexual harassment case in court. That it was Akpabio's wife that did. That the only case she instituted was the six months suspension case.
What this means is that she's in hot pepper soup because she has no proof of sexual harassment. That was why she didn't file the case.

The case Natasha filed in court was against the Senate; she got an interlocutory injunction from the court to stop the Senate (ethics and privileges committee) from proceedings on her conduct review and disciplinary actions. She didn't want the Senate to punish her for her disruptive, disrespectful and unruly behavior in the Senate. That was the case she took to court.

Go and check or investigate my claim: she never Instituted a case in court against Apabio for sexually harassing her.

The sexual harassment case that Natasha later presented to the Senate ethics and privileges committee could not be investigated for now because a related matter is already before the court (case filed in court by Apabio's wife). So the committee can't continue to investigate for now to prevent sub judiciary influence on the case in court or preemption of the court.

There is no basis for Apabio to step down, even if the Senate Committee is investigating the case. Apabio should only recuse himself from presiding over the Senate meeting where there report of the ethics and privileges committee will present their report to the Senate for decision making.
