The Ogbunabali community in Port Harcourt Local Government Area in Rivers State yesterday shut down a transmission station, belonging to Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) over epileptic power supply.


The affected area is the Port Harcourt Town transmission station, located in Nzimiro Street. The angry residents said they were carrying out what they called, peaceful protest. To drive home their point, the protesters stormed the PHCN office with various fetish objects, including palmfronds, black fowl, which they tied to the palmfronds, leaves and tied them to the gate of the transmission station.

Ha ha ha ha Nigeria we hail thee. I can't blame them though. Why should the people be left in darkness if they are paying their electricity bill each month? It is high time that we fix our electricity problem once and for all in Nigeria. Since PHCN has refused to eliminate electricity shortage in most parts of Nigeria, PHCN should be prepared to have all sorts of fetish occultic satanic objects hanging from their gate. JUJU ke? :oThe community leaders should talk with the PHCN management in the area. This is how it is done in other communities suffering from power problems and I've seen it work. Juju can never be d solution to such PHCN problems. Dialogue and mutual understanding is always d best.
