And why Islamiv insurgency in Nigeria? Answer: because the 12 northern Nigeria states adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system beginning 1999. Those states that adopted sharia crimimal laws and the insurgents share common objective for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.
So it's not a war to be won with weapons, but with political solution. The solution is granting the sharia states an Islamic Republic of Arewa.

Why weapons for Nigeria? No country is a threat to Nigeria. Through adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system in the far north Nigeria states, Islamists of Nigeria in combo of ISWAP and Fulani herdsmen are the only threat to Nigeria. Let the sharia states renounce their adoption of sharia criminal laws so that the Islamic insurgents will close shops. Otherwise, the weapons are meant to further decimate Nigeria's population.
A most practicable political solution is dissolve Nigeria so that the 12 sharia states get their own Islamic Republic

Goodluck Jonathan bouth some good numbers of weapons and Tucano jet fighters, Buhari also bought more weapons all yeilded no positive results.
What I think we really need is good undercover intelligence.
How come for year's, the DSS cannot uncover the hideouts of bandit's that resides within the length and breathe of Nigeria.
How come for year's, they cannot track their source of finance and block them , which will suffocate them and bring them down.
Government should invite the CIA and MOSSAD, Within a short time, they will uncover all the camps and hideouts of bandit's and Boko Haram.
