U dey try twist the narrative.........it is not "helping them relocate"...it is wickedness taking someone abroad, no school, no work, no salary ...just so they can watch ur kids while u get all the freedom to work and make money...

The least she could do is pay the person some money so they don't feel used ......since they can't work, go to school, or get a life because they have to watch her kids 24/7

Reminds me of the US based Ghanaian couple that took a girl with them as help. The girl went on to report them to the cops and they were jailed for about 20 years. One of the couple ended up dying in jail and the other died after release. The girl now turned woman and married to a citizen only recently confessed that the couple never enslaved her, they were about to send her back to Ghana when she went to report them. It was her parents that connived with her to do what she did so she can become a resident.

Even if you pay, if you don’t pay the going rate they can still get you jailed. You must pay the going rate which only 1% of the very wealthy can afford

Many of them have done it. I have family members who were citizens and helped several people relocate that way. They helped the family babysit for a period and the family helped them get their papers as a staff. But some people are impatient and follow bad advice. In the end the people that brought them go to prison. Not saying there are also not the bad ones but most of the time these stories are not true. Also, you never know what the agreement is between them. They may be settling her people at home.

This case is simple, we are all Africans after all, it's just a case of 2 wrong gone bad, but I expected more from a whole Judge

Anyways, this is probably 70% what happened, Madam Judge Mugambe brought a fellow Ugandian over to the UK all expenses paid with the hope that she would stay with her and help babysit her kids while she got her PhD, but auntie wanted to travel to the UK for free, move out, work and send pictures to her family at home to show and boast that she had arrived and now in the UK, but the Judge knows that if she had her freedom she would run away and not pay her dues, typical of Africans,, now, the Judge's mistake was trying to force it on her because she thinks UK is like Africa were the Rich and Powerful do as they pleased

A simple contract would have saved the Judge all these stress but despite being a learned personale, the African mentality put her in this mess, what an insult to the African judiciary undecided
