It should be at least #1,000,000 to discourage the refugee influx into Lagos and SW.

Time to pray for Nigeria
In the Catholic Church, we started saying the PRAYER FOR NIGERIA IN DISTRESS since around 1996

Till date, the distress is only expanding gigantically

What does that tell you?

I understand your angst but how exactly does one act in this situation, the legislative arm of government is gone. The judiciary is gone , the police is gone , the military is gone, the only thing that seems to be remaining is the part of the economy driven by the non formal sector.
They still keep you safe and secure. If you know how many military men and boys who have died protecting you, you wouldn't be generalising.

It just looks like the anti christ started with Nigeria. Painful thing is the the church people are mute while Nigeria decays.
Nigeria's churches are fraud and scam

A good number of those who paid that fare back then are currently Lagos based millionaires.

They came with nylon bags and bathroom slippers.

The post is about how Tinubu has made naira weak, imposed high inflation on Nigeria.

3,500 naira in 2015 was 17 dollars.

17 dollars today is 27,200 naira.
How much was minimum wages then??

Lagos was the federal capital territory and was developed with my Rivers state oil money so you better shut up.
Can you see how poor your mentality is?
Lagos is a cosmopolitan state, without movements like this, it's economy will be zero mumu like you.

In 2015, there was subsidy.
Today there is no subsidy grin
So, where is the subsidy gone to now?

Clueless greed removed subsidy and did nothing good with it but keeps embezzling it plus more borrowing to share

Shame on this man and all his supporters

Babablu bulabu.

3,500 naira could get you more than 23 liters of petrol in 2015.

Today 3,500 naira can only get you 3.6 litters.
So U are Using 3,500 which can buy 23 liters of petrol for transport from Onitsha to Lagos.

That means things cost too then.

#3500 in 2015 was huge. How much was bag of rice then??

This is still costly.

My cousin paid N98 to travel from Lagos to Enugu after he got admission into Enugu state university.

I remember taking a bus for N200 from Lagos to Ondo Town in 1999.
All these historical adventures are pointless. If you go back far enough the trip cost N5. If you also go back far enough minimum wage was once N100, today it is N70,000.

It didn’t start today so what exactly then is the point?

Many of you are too young to be alive in the mid eighties, the drop in the standard of living was worse what we are experiencing today. Hard to believe but true.

Between 1985 and 1988, Naira lost almost 90% of its value which is equivalent of Naira going from N600 to N6000 per dollar today. Naira has only gone from N600 to N1600 and you won’t let us rest!
