The Naira float was necessary. The dual exchange rate led to arbitrage and zero productivity, and discouraged investment.

If Nigerians can bear with Tinubu for the next year or two, they will see a big recovery and economic boom.

Just because you are benefiting from this administration doesn't mean you shouldn't speak out. Remember, people are suffering and if you refuse to talk or say something about wicked act of this administration and the poverty line it has created, you might fall. Don't wait until you fall before speaking out, but speak out when you see it coming.

This is the problem we have in this country. People are being paid to comment good about this administration whereas the administration is bad and evil. Such people like this are also contributing to the poverty line in this country.

I hope people will come together in unity and protest against this government because this is not the Nigeria we all wished for.

So for Tinubu to continue with subsidies, he would have had to borrow $10 billion as soon he got to office.

I believe he still paid around $3 billion for a little subsidy to make it less harsh, but the reality is that the country cannot afford to borrow $10 billion a year for fuel subsidies. It would bankrupt the country.
