But you see that MASSCOMM? Once any relative inform me say him dey go read Masscomm, I done write am off for life. It shows s/he is a settler who takes the easy path and embraces mediocrity. Not somebody worth investing a penny or a Joule of energy in.

I know this because I saw two of such brochure where they will have pictures of the best 3 candidates in the last election .

I’m shocked over 12k are scoring above 300 nowadays .

Two truths can coexist. I know one boy who left for Saudi Arabia about 3 years ago, one of the best House Officers I'd ever had the privilege of working with, he was good at just about any and everything. Prior to him na 'Do comot abeg' bin choke the space. Now I have 3 of such exceptionally brilliant talents with me although I can't kid myself as I know their days in Nigeria are numbered

I don't know what information you're privy to, but some states are producing steady electricity. Since 2021 at least, Ibom Power has been producing 135 MW of electricity but NERC can only take up 80 MW which it feeds to the national grid through Aba. Nigeria's distribution system is as old as our independence. This I have in good authority. The other 55 MW generstrd goes to waste.

NERC also owes generation coys billions of Naira. I've have to check the exact figure.

Tell Tinubu to make a pronouncement making states truly able to distribute and see what happens.

MASSCOM is popular because once u don’t get into Law , the next lucrative course that comes to mind is MASSCOM. It’s just like commercial/social science students thinking of Accountancy/ Economics and the first choice and Banking & Finance as next best choice .

Na nowadays when people eyes don open dem Dey see say there are other good courses in those fields they can still thrive if they study them.

Nowadays I think people have more materials and the teachers probably know more about the subjects

In my time na mostly older NCE people dey teach with a few older already married graduates wey do sandwich courses. Most of our teacher sef no fully understand those Physics and Maths well. Last last dem go teach you Avogadros law using Fuji music using textbooks written in 1960. Bunday, Godman, Lamcombes

In my time highest in Jamb is usually around 260 to 280

If you get luck and a smart dedicated Corper is posted to teach you, you will see the difference especially in science courses from the older permanent teachers

Nowadays because of the scarcity of jobs, younger Uni graduates are going into teaching, they understand better, have better resources and teach better

That year if Unilag don release merit list finish , dem go come advertise courses wey Dey available wey people wey get good grades fit change their course to for them to be considered admission .

You will see them Listing courses like Education Admin, Guidance and counseling , Adult Education, Human Kinetics Education, Christian religious study , fisheries , social work , etc.

You go come begin ask people “ where can I work if I study social work “? 😂
