VDM was arrested last Friday at a bank branch in the Wuse area of Abuja

Eyewitnesses said he was accosted shortly after exiting the bank premises.

This newspaper is still lying that he was arrested at a bank......when infact he had left the bank premises in a car before he was arrested and shallow minded Nigerians are blaming GT bank. VDM himself said a day before his arrest that he was going to GT bank with his mum. How some people claimed it was the bank that invited police to arrest him beats my imagination

In all this I fear for the future of Nigeria...where people disengage their brains for emotional satisfaction

You are contradicting yourself. All you stated above are sufficient grounds for his prosecution. Sultan of Sokoto is so revered that if he made unsubstantiated and damaging remarks against the office then he should be held to account. That's not trumped up charges, it's the fact.

You may need to follow him to court to go and say this, i think it will be okay, or may be you go to efcc office and tell them

Nigeria security agencies, even the ones you expect to do better will still do copy and paste formats of yeye police force. ARRESTING SUSPECT FIRST THEN START LOOKING FOR EVIDENCE.

Only in Nigeria would u be arrested/kidnapped first by security agencies before they would gather evidence to know your crime

Sultan of Sokoto had called social media “a terrorist organisation” and VDM had made a video arguing that social media shouldn’t be regarded as such…a few days later someone claiming to be Arewa youth president made a video threatening VDM to retract his statement and apologise within 48hours. VDM’s response to the warning was to lash out at the Arewa president and then went on to blame northern Nigeria for most of the ills responsible for Nigeria’s under development. He also called them illiterates and uneducated.

I didn’t see any video where VDM insulted the Sultan.

Are we even sure that VDM is still alive

It's VERY possible that EFCC Seyi Tinubu's thugs took matters too far and have either killed or severely disfigured VDM in custody for speaking up against Seyi Tinubu's thugs brutalising the NANS President.

They are hiding something hence their refusal to let anyone see VDM since last Friday.

EFCC is just being used as the fall guys to cover up for Seyi Tinubu.

Until I see and hear from VDM, I am not convinced that they have not killed him or disfigured him.
