Obi importer business model in the mud.

Let me wait for the Agulu fraud to come and condemn this policy after mouthing off on consumption to production bullshit
He won't be affected as a private citizen, he will keep importing but he's the biggest hypocrite ever.

What are you banning ?

Do you have 100% control of your borders ?

Nigeria has over 1,400 illegal routes alongside 84 approved border posts,
the most porous borders are those shared with Niger, Cameroon, Benin, and Chad ?

Can you prevent smuggling through these borders ? If not this can never be enforced
.
If all security agencies guiding our borders can say this policy must work then it will work.

It won't happen, there will be competitive bidding. If one local company inflated its own costs, a hundred are willing to bring it down to get the contracts. That's what Umahi is doing right now, Amy contractor with over bloated costs, he cancels the contract and give to other contractors. No time.

This is very unnecessary. If it works, who gains?

In the history of Nigeria, can you mention to me an ordained president? Or we have never had any?

I don't support Tinubu. I only pray for a better Nigeria.

.

I fear for four things that may hinder the objectives of this laudable policy.

1. Electricity instability.
2. Insecurity I'm most part of the country.
3. The activities of the smugglers.
4. Diversion of funds meant for the industrialisation.

Well done to someone who hit the groung running cluelessly and now recycling the same things he said in 2023 and earlier in 2015 to make Buhari president and earn his ebilokan through Yorubalokan tribal agenda?

Majesty2:
The APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has revealed how he will drive the economy of the country, strengthen the Naira and making the country "import less" while "exporting more".

So cute.
They will bring in the sugar in 100kg bags.
They will repack them in ordinary nylons (see through)
They will sell as retail.
We have smugglers that make billions from smuggling, only way to prevent this is to secure the borders.
In Switzerland you cannot bring in meat even if you drive out for a short trip. This is to protect their farmers. Its 100% enforced, they will check your groceries bag and receipt even if you are in a small private car !!
you empty lots are always in Rush to copy other countries policies without studying.... Switzerland you used as a yard stick produced beef infact they're in abundance of it so why do you still want to import something you have in abundance...... Baning importations of rice I don't think Nigeria has learnt a lesson through it
