| Re: Tinubu Bans Importation Of Foreign Goods, Unveils New Industrialisation Policy by DMerciful(m): 12:33pm On May 06, 2025 |
You guys have started applauding a rubb1sh policy without thoughtfulness. Does Nigeria currently have the capacity to produce these goods? Do you know the inflation that would arise from this? You build capacity locally before you ban by subsidizing the manufacturing of these goods first SoftSport: |

dederocs:You're praising and applauding something you don't understand. What does Nigeria produce that's sufficient for its people? Just wait until prices skyrocket again – you'll start complaining. Some of you guys are really clueless. |

mrvitalis:You guys s are just a bunch of Illiterates contradicting yourselves. We have recently recorded balance of trade surplus, we need to reduce too much pressure on foreign exchange on imports and help local industry. And these hypocrites were shouting from consumption to production, lol. See them now saying nonsense. Bitterness na disease. |

dederocs:baba, I hope you know the consequences of this drivel you're talking about. Anyways, let's bookmark and come back again when the impact hits home. You people are encouraging crisis, even the Americans have started feeling the impact of this policy as big and developed as they are while all every normal human being is saying is that first things should be done first |

KillahPriest:Nigeria is not imposing tariffs on other countries bringing their goods here, we are only encouraging our local industry to thrive. This is different from Trump's crazy tariffs. |

Borrow2222:Even a dummy knows we have enough resources and manpower to be a viable producing nation, it's just the right government policy and will to drive it. Nations that are producing are they not humans with large heads like ours? If you are so dumb and only know how to consume, I assure you there are hardworking Nigerians out there, creative, hardworking that can help the nation drive this industrialisation drive. We must start somewhere, or your educated head don't know if we don't produce and utilise our resources valuably, we will always suffer currency devaluation and inflation. So to you, we should perpetually be consumers and not venture into production? You are definitely very dumb. The number 1 reason for our inflation and devaluation of currency is because we are not producing. We have comparative advantage in producing some products, like the president said, we must produce what we can, what we have comparative advantage on, we can't continue to have such huge balance of payment deficit, we must produce and reduce our import volume and start exporting. Most of you are educated morons, this is the only way inflation can reduce and our currency value improve. |

DomPerignon:Industrialization without electricity? Farming without removing bandits from the farmlands? More than 200 killed in the nation’s food basket states of plateau and benue in the last one month and yet no single person charged. Are people from your tribe so shamefully mentally challenged than they now see subservient bitterness to igbos as common sense? |
| Re: Tinubu Bans Importation Of Foreign Goods, Unveils New Industrialisation Policy by OfficialP: 12:42pm On May 06, 2025 |
Senioreddy:You can't build something on nothing. Before you ban importation of anything, first you must be producing that thing first. That's what they should focus on first. Produce first. You may argue the policy will encourage local production, I hope so, but it's unlikely |
