KillahPriest:Americans feeling what? Since that we have been a consuming nation, what is the benefit? Are we progressing? If you don't know, our lack of production and exportation...too much importation and consumption is why we have a low value currency and high inflation. Inflation occurs when the volume of money in circulation is way in excess of production activity, in other words, when a nation don't produce but spend most of their money in consumption, inflation occurs. Go learn the basic principles and stop telling me about America lamenting, last I checked American economy is getting stronger and dollar currency still very valuable. You can't eat your cake and have it, a lazy consuming system will regress eventually, value creates value, investment and production is creation of value, stop being lazy. |

dederocs:You see why I said most guys are clowns. For a country to be a manufacturing nation, there are certain things you must solve – you won't solve the problem completely, but up to 80%. Things like power, security, good road networks, and simple basic amenities. Those countries you mentioned have solved these issues up to 90%. Do you expect a manufacturing company running on expensive diesel to sell finished products at a reduced price with good quality? When transporting goods to the market, will you remove the police, LASMA, VIO, FRSC, and army on the road that collect bribes from drivers? With the insecurity all over the country, are you willing to go to places like Zamfara, Yobe, and Borno state to buy goods? |

adenigga:It is a welcome development since it took the FG through PBAT to copy from Trump policies. We just hope this doesn't make the masses to be at the receiving end from the producers of such products for exploitation. We are Nigerians we like exploitation. |

KillahPriest:The wheat industry, flour manufacturing, textiles, vehicles, food manufacturers, cement, glass, poultry feeds, plastics manufactures, lots of local companies that are currently running... To you they are moribund, right?. The hypocrisy with you guys is that you pretend about loving the country, but you're bunch of liars. It is same you hypocrites shouting from consumption to production. You only hate the fact that it's not your own man in power implementing it. |
| Re: Tinubu Bans Importation Of Foreign Goods, Unveils New Industrialisation Policy by rinzaugustine: 12:58pm On May 06, 2025 |
Putindbutt:Adopting the ostrich mindset wishing a problem would go away is never the best and would one day knock on your doorsteps and that’s what kept Nigeria were we are today. A lot of the people buried six or four feet today in plateau and benue never imagined today in their graves they would be murdered so quickly . That areas 15-20 years ago was one of the most peaceful places in te world. We wish problems to go away without action or plan and it gets worse , white people tackle problems at early stages and society gets better…that’s the big difference. Innocent people are paying taxes in zamfara now to bandits to stay alive and with the way things are going e go reach everyone in Nigeria in the next 15 years unless you are rich |

adenigga:So it's only igbos understand business in this country. How do these leaders reason? No atom of business sense at all. Same thing buhari did and slided Nigeria into shithole is what this man is repeating. It's not about local production, it's about the efficiency and affordability of the product. Make the local product affordable with good quality, nobody will import anything. Nigerians, una go hear am dance am. |

DomPerignon:so you have been consuming crap all your life? Interesting….name one thing on your body and inside your room now Nigeria makes. First thought of Igbo man when it comes to industrialaztion is stable electricity. This is a no brainer here that even a 10 year old igbo knows with electricity comes manufacturing and you source your raw materials from the farm thereby improving agriculture, industrialization and retail sectors of your country simultaneously followed by jobs and next is seeing lives of your people improving . This is basic knowledge not bolekaja abracadabra |
