chi900:This is an arsehole move, if in fact true. Why not ask your followers to drink seawater? Nonsense! 😩😩😩😩😩 This claim could only come from a scumbag since the Bible which he pretends to quit from never in fact indicates salt to be a cure for any ailment or condition. ![]() |

Kobojunkie:Salt is good for you just as cow milk is. The only problem is that most people are descended from populations that never had salt regularly as salt was once a very expensive commodity and for good reason as well. It's just like lactose tolerance with many of the world's population being highly lactose intolerant because their ancestors evolved without drinking milk. Having lactose intolerance doesn't mean milk is bad for you. It just means your DNA evolution never had exposure to dairy products as a food source. Salt is good for you because it helps keep you hydrated and also a vital mineral rich supplement outside being a culinary additive . Animals in the wild will crave salt. The issue like I said is that most of the world's population today evolved without eating salt because salt was once a very expensive luxury item. The Romans even paid their soldiers in salt rations mined from Roman salt mines using slave labour. It's from salt we got the word Salary which is derived from Latin Salarium. The saying : "not worth his salt" comes from the days of the Roman legions to describe a recruit as not being fit for military service. Salt is good. But like every other thing on the planet, do not over indulge. |

Reduce salt intake if you're hypertensive or having kidneys problems. Don't follow religion foolishly. |

I see salt as a corrosive agent. Eating much of salt could be dangerous to the heart. Why salt can balance certain functions of the body for those who understand, excessive consumption may be detrimental to the body. |

Salt is good. No doubt. BUT excessive intake of many substances including salt is not healthy. The bible didn't recommend the daily dose of salt that needs to be taken. Will you eat a plate of salt because Jesus said that salt is good? Eating too much sodium can increase your blood pressure and your risk for heart disease and stroke. |
