Hi. Good morning, ma'am. Please can you share a video (although I would appreciate your own knowledge) about publishing fiction books on Kdp?

I had my best friend create an account, but I'm totally occupied with other things because I don't trust KDP. So I wanna just go into fiction writing to reach my full writing potentials. That way, even if Kdp bans the account, I might be able to sell it.

Publishing fiction is very different from non fiction but the initial process for selfpublishing applies. Go to Amazon bestseller list, study the category and genre. Assess your skill level, in which of the genres can you write an 'okay' book?
Let's say you pick domestic thriller, select several self published books from the top 100 list, read them and see if you can reproduce something similar in length, character type, book cover and blurb.
Then u send to beta readers and editors for serious polishing of the manuscript.

Hm, thank you ma'am. Where do I even get such money for that? Anyways, I'll find a way... If this guy can write fiction stories with AI, I can do it with my brain. That guy made me send me my outline and ghosted me, I'm sure he used my work to create a story.

It would be nice for someone to create a telegram group or WhatsApp group where information about kdp will be shared freely...

We need to guide and help each other.... if there's any group, someone should drop it

That's quite bad on the part of Amazon. The thing is that some of the Amazon support team take decision based on their individual minds and based on how lenient the individual that will respond to your issue is. Some won't terminate your account on the first time you make such a mistake. Others will just terminate the account straight up.

I have seen someone who has received multiple warnings time and time again, but his account still stands. That's why I said, there is more to this business. Let's not always rely on our own human cautiousness. No matter how careful we can be, we still need to make some prayers here and there regarding our accounts.

Such prayers will help keep our account safe even in the face of any mistake. There are times when the wrong person will attend to your mistake and that will come with a termination email. That's why we still need to pray for our accounts so that no matter the mistake, terminating your account won't be the first option that will cross their minds.

Having said that, you need to bounce back. Go on and create another account. Clear your browser cookies and cache and create a new account with new details. New email, phone number and address. Write new books and start publishing again.

And to avoid that mistake, don't in any way copy anyone's title word for word. Avoid making your book cover look exactly as another person's cover. Make sure your titles are unique to avoid amazon query regarding misleading customers experience.

I think this will help to keep your account safe.

Where were you when they were dishing out info freely for everyone. The truth is that things have changed in kdp. Account termination and book blocking is now the order of the day.

Even many of the so- called pros have suffered seriously from this.

This thread is more than 200 pages, you can still get some very good info from it

I started KDP this year. I started uploading in march.. and 3 of my books were blocked upon uploading them.. next thing my account was terminated.

I sent several appeal emails but all were rejected until I figured out the issue.. once i noticed wat was wrong, I sent them another mail and explained everything.. they unblocked my account immediately (in April).. and i reuploaded the books in may and june.

I wanted to share some tips on what to do when an account gets blocked but my Nigerian brodas only likes recieving (getting help) and not giving (helping others)

Btw, I know where my lack of sales might be coming from (i used amazon book cover generator to design the covers)..


In essence, I need only one good title to write on.. make una help me.. I don't know why Nigerians like hoarding information.. that's why indians are better than us..

E sure me say na one of Amazon Nigerian employee that's always terminating Nigerian KDP accounts because of envy.. Nigerians hate the progress of their neighbours.. tufia..

Make i go change all my 7 backend keywords and redo the book covers to look attractive.. if I no make sales make i know why..

I suggest u don’t log in your new account on any device you once logged in the old (terminated accounts) even if it is incognito mode. Forget about those telling you to use private mode, Amazon is a trillion dollar company, they have the means to track those stuff down.
