On what would have been Junior Pope’s 45th birthday, his wife, Jennifer Awele, poured out her heart in a deeply emotional Instagram post, remembering her late husband.

Sharing a touching video of the actor playing joyfully with their children, Jennifer wrote, “

It’s May 7th 2025 and I’m not celebrating you with my different birthday surprises... but with a heart that still beats in rhythm with yours.”

She recalled a sweet memory from 2010, when he first told her his birthday was “the last day in the first week of May.” Today, that day feels heavy with grief and longing.

Junior Pope tragically passed away on April 10, 2024, following a boat accident while returning from a movie shoot. His death shook the Nollywood industry.

“Happy 45th Birthday our Daddy in Heaven,” she ended her tribute. “Keep watching over us, Debonair.”

I'm sorry but social media is social for a reason. I don't allow social media define my perception about anyone's family.

Neither am i a monitoring spirit or so jobless to check when or how many times he posts his wife.

I have never posted my family on social media. Personal choice. I have my reasons. First to protect them. secondly, My children should make the decision to be posted online not my decision. They will do that when they grow older.

People like you might conclude something is wrong between me and my wife that's why i don't post them
