This is just emblematic of how these faith healers operate. They are just steeped in confirmation bias that often has no real basis. I mean just look at this case, they believe a healing has taken place just because a person takes off her oxygen mask. There's no objective investigation into the medical history, no gathering of facts, nothing.

Unfortunately, the lady who died was not the first nor would she be the last to die after all the fake jamboree of testimony or theatrical displays on the pulpit of the so called power of god. I just wish people learn from stuff like this.

The government already does in some ways, but an all-out invasive regulation may not be a good idea because then you have people with the levers of power messing with religions they don't like. However I would like to see more laws that protect citizens from being exploited by religious bodies and an even handed enforcement.

The religious bodies should be encouraging our to work, the only way out of poverty not the other way round and advice people to live a healthy lifestyle and visits the hospital when sick.
