The Igbo community should be pleased with Tinubu's decision to settle in their region after his retirement. For the first time, we will have a former president living among the Igbo people.

I remember when Buhari announced that he had chosen Niger Republic as his retirement destination; the IPOB members were not happy and intensified their hostility toward him. Perhaps Tinubu's choice will help address the allegations of marginalization that they have raised against Nigeria.
