Use any of Opay, moniepoint or palmpay and save yourself the stress and extortion.
Fear no allow them use opay, moniepoint and palmpay. People wey no get up to 1m dey fear make their money no loss. Even filling stations and big shopping malls are now using these above mentioned banks and their POS machines. And people wey no get even up to 500k dey fear. Una never serious. Since I started using Opay and Moniepoint my worries ended.

what about the some transfer that is free and bonuses you receive when you buy card, data and pay utility bills among others. Can the commercial banks do that?
It depends on the amount coming in and going out of my account, there is a certain level i will do per day, Opay will start deducting 10 Naira for each transfer, these are transfer below 10k ok.

My DStv/Gotv subscription is via Opay, my prepaid meter subscription is via Opay, airtime/data subscription are all via Opay; i do receive some incentives but the chargers are more.

True talk. The most annoying thing is that the can send multiple sms for one transaction in order to deduct more money from your account.

I use Opay, i have absolutely no gain lying against Opay, i did 3 different transfer yesterday above 10k and 50 Naira was deducted from each of those transfer, even the monies i received that are above 10k, they deducted 50 Naira from my Opay acc.
That's not an issue with opay,it's an instruction from CBN which every banking apps or system must follow.

It's good you didn't deny the obvious, whether it's FG or CBN, all transfer and money received above 10k via Opay will deduct 50 Naira from both the sender and the receiver, i use Opay so I'm not exaggerating ok!
Oga you are lying and stop 🛑.
Only the receiver will be deducted #50 above 10k just like any other banks, and you know those banks usually add their own peculiar charges too in addition to #50 traditional charge. Mind you I am an opay user for good 7 years old before that famous cashless policy event then. which I used to fund my bet account at that time.

That also means u don't use other normal Nigerian bank accounts.
Opay withdraws it immediately and normal banks sometimes withdraw it immediately or later.
It's for all the banks in Nigeria n not only forbfintechs.
Electronic money transfer levy if for all the banks in Nigeria

You can opt out of it o.
Then it should be the other way - by default, customers are out, then whoever wants will opt in. This is somehow stealing from innocent customers

The benefit of this SMS thing is that if an unauthorised transaction occurs in your account, you can quickly detect it by such sms notification and take immediate steps to tackle it and save what's left

99% of the time, it doesn't help that much in helping you to stop what's already happening to your account aside the awareness it creates. You notice it, before you go through the steps of blocking your account, the deeds have been done already.
