I currently used Peugeot 307 but considering Switching to Mercedes Benz. So I have this Neighbor that imported a Mercedes C230 2002/2004 model not sure of the year actually but it's a 6-cylinder engine.

Now my question is what will the fuel consumption ratio looks like looking at wia I was coming from.
This was the picture of the engine when I went for inspection.

Pls your advice will be greatly appreciated.

I dot have an idea of the oil grade used by previous owner. (No contact of the previous owner)
I used mobil3000 but it indicate oil shortage within a month of service.

I intend using high viscosity engine oil.

To change a MB key requires at least 200k, that's the smallest benz I can think of ooo... all those c300, GLE class No even go there.

Benz na bad market for car hijackers jare.

Besides most MB has factory installed tracker on it that no car hijackers no matter how good can deactivate it.
Even most benz users dont know their car jas a factory tracker on them.

You need the MB app from Mercedes itself to track it.

Our NPF the ones in that criminal department knows this

Consulted my mechanic to check for leakages but nothing was found. He advised I change my oil to a higher viscosity 3weeks ago and up till now the oil level indicator hasn't shown.

You are right. But once its starts dropping, it gies down very fast.

I fill my tank every monday sha...to keep the fuel pump healthy, and partly monitor the fuel consumption..cos lately my car dey guzzle fuel much.

Change ur air filter
Check tyre pressures, make sure they're properly guaged.
Check ur driving pattern.
Use the right fluid and get 4seasons tyres.

Im driving a c230 2004 model white top engine v4

Recently the issue I'm facing is sometimes the gear not entering park from drive when i want to shift to reverse if i want to reverse in a street. It will stop in neutral until I turn off the ignition before I can shift to park. And if I turn it back on, I can do it freely until another time. Randomly it will stuck again till i turn off ignition


Someone said its electrical issue and someone said it may be brake switch fault


My auto gear is shifting smoothly only face issue of getting stuck when going to R or P sometimes

This happened on my 05 w211, i can surely and guarantee you it’s 99% gear selector that needs to be changed, it’s not electrical at all. Just change the gear selector and use scanner to remove it from limp mode when changed. No let anyone tell u anything else
