Nobody will trust PDP to remove subsidy then. Our oil revenue was at all time high then, our savings was getting depleted and more loans are been added with zero investment in infrastructure, while PDP goons were busy sharing the money, some of whom are crying till today because they have the feeding bottle (Nigerian treasury) yanked off their rotten mouth. Criminals!

Understanding Obi's stance, it connotes that Nigerian -as at then- could've allowed Jonathan go ahead and remove the subsidy. And it's actually a good point because the economy then was much more better and blooming unlike now.

Of course Yesufu an unpatriotic-career-prostester would see nothing wrong with the ill-will protest which destroyed a buoyant economy

There was actually no need to protest. It was just a difference of 33 naira compared to what we have now. They protest would have been legit if fuel rose to 150-180 at that time.

And come to think of it, he is right. Why is it that now that fuel has increased beyond measure, now that there is actually a need to protest, no one is protesting?
