Caaz:How much for the maggi, salt, the ugwu and curry leaves are free right? No transport to market? Let's even forget about gas, you said the chicken is reared, so it has no value abi? 1 kilo of chicken alone in the market is N6k. |
| Re: The Egusi Soup I Prepared With #2000 by santaclaws: 7:07pm On May 09, 2025 |
The guy even put tomato paste inside egusi, who does that ![]() |

Caaz:at least half fried would do the magic. I hate the raw smell of chicken that's way I don't eat layers at all!!! |

daniwise: Emmabyte:Some of these guys are paid agents. Their job is to downplay the cost of food and cost of living and make it seem like food is cheap. This is not the first time I am seeing this on Nairaland. You can see how he claimed the chicken was reared, as if the chicken has no value. No cost of maggi, gas, salt, transportation to the market, also the Ugwu and curry leaves are "free". In reality, the soup will cost over 10k. Watch out for people like that. |

I never used to be a chicken person until recently. Regardless, I still prefer to cook soup with beef than chicken. |
