The SE must have to surprise Tinubu in 2027. We can do whatever we like at the Guber level but at the National, we must vote en bloc with the Center.

I am APC to the core. But I can tell you something. Tinubu was smart enough to finance Obi's Presidential campaign without even Obi knowing! Because Tinubu was calculating.

Tinubu planted people in Atiku and Obi's camps far before those ones even knew they would contest. Those moles kept egging Atiku on that there was something fishy about Tinubu's Chicago certificate. Tinubu very intentionally wasted their time.

PBAT agreed with Wike on what he will get if he performs. Wike delivered and PBAT delivered. Both parties are happy and are ready to do it again.

Through PBAT's reforms even though there is hardship associated with it the subnationals have enough money to run their governments. Salaries are regularly paid. Nigeria has become major construction sites. Haven't you heard Oti, Soludo etc commend his reforms. Did I not tell you people to learn how to play politics? I am a big fan of Umahi and other Ibos in APC have worked hard but unfortunately your people were backing the wrong horse and the SS smelt the coffee ahead of you.


Ordinarily the next southern VP and president should be Ibo but you haven’t played your cards well.

I have said it many times Obi is unelectable. He is the wrong type of Ibo and the longer the SE queue up behind him the longer it takes to retrace your steps and the further you fall behind the queue!

After Tinubu, we Yorubas have no right or claim to presidency or VP for the next 40 yrs. Get your act together or a Yoruba May even become VP or president again before you.

I really feel for Umahi. He’s been a loyal party man and an excellent minister but his people have so far let him down. Like Orji Kalu said recently, the way you negotiate in politics is with votes!

The discussion is about both else he wont be back in 2027. Removing fuel subsidy and floating is a necessary evil Nigerian politicians will sacrifice on the altar of re election. Tinubu choose to take those bold decisions, i doubt another nigerian politician can do that as they will surely lose reelection or suffer massive revolt. He has taken the two actions with an uncommon dexterity whilst he strive to convert the actions to medium and long term gain from the current short term pain. Can you name anyother politician that will remove fuel subsidy and float naira at about the same time.
