Every political elite in Nigeria's political space is now attacking Peter Obi. There is a grand plan to break, demoralize, and silence PO before 2027. Even if all the 36 States governors defect to APC, the masses are solidly behind Peter Obi!
The elites have seen Obi as a man who will not tolerate corrupt practices in his government.

It's Peter Obi or nothing in 2027!
It’s obvious this one doesn’t know anything about Obi outside the lies and propaganda he’s been fed with on social media. You’ve been irreversibly brainwashed

School of not the common man
Stop being lazy! Work out your way out of poverty you inherited legitimately through hardwork and stop complaining. Poor and rich people had existed before our great-great grand parents were born.

If you are born into poverty, you can decide to walk out of it or marry and breed children in poverty too. Stop blaming everything you think is for rich people, they are not the ones that make you poor and it has nothing to do with maltreating poor people. Rich and poor will continue to exist in every generation, set your mentality right

people keep complaining that the school is expensive. Imagine having a tete-a-tete with the governor of the most important state in the country. These kids are going to end up growing up with the brightest mentality.
really? are you saying that all the adults that have achieved things today did so because a governor of the most important states in their various countries visited their schools and talked to them when they were kids?

All these investments are what makes a state or country great and failure to acknowledge will prevent more inflow of direct investment. Sentiment aside. If I have the money I will send my son to that school, great success starts with one's self esteem, ability to see yourself as a great person, it helps one to bring forth hidden potentials. How many of our teachers back then in primary and secondary school helped us to grow? The perception is different.
Which investment?

A brewry is what you are calling investment?

If it was a mega poultry that will utilize the over 40 tonnes of grains being processed into beer in that brewry , do you know the value chain it would have created?

FYI, the best investment a state can do isn't to invest state funds into private business or lodge it in a fixed FX account in Obi's bank but rather it ought to have gone to social and physical infrastructure like schools , roads , etc.

This isn't an investment. This is a heist of state resources.

How much is the initial $9 mil investment worth today ? A meagre #450mil naira which is less than $300,000 In today's value.

That is a massive dip from the original $9mil.

The original owners SAB Miller sold the company to another investor who then went to the stock markets to raise more equity that diluted the share values further and during the phase of transiting to new ownership , I am sure it's there Giringory cashed out and left a fraction of the original $9mil shares.

It was a heist and not an investment. A scheme to launder funds in the name of investment.

No one wants to identify with the poor.

Have you ever seen the Governor visiting government own schools like Ansar Ud deem Sec. School Mushin or Isolo Grammar School? Fake ass gomina.

The other time he visited an elite hispital set up by a US or UK returnee but will never visit the numerous health centers or General hospitals in Lagos to see their states.

Why are you trying to derail the thread?

What has 'political elites attacking Obi' got to do with Gov. Sanwo Olu's visit to the British school?

If you want to start your campaign, you're free to create a separate thread for that please, if, to you, someone who feels attacked by every other person does not need to also check himself to know why.

Not that people will be discussing 'A' but you'll be commenting on 'D'.

Let's be guided pls.

are your kids in the school?
What is poor kids looking for in this type of school in the first place? Poor kids will never make attempt to go to this kind of school because the parents wouldn't be able to even pay for entry form not to talk of school fees or other bills. You can only see one or two accidentally poor parents who had been paying before, but perhaps because the parent jobs were unexpectedly terminated; they are unable to pay on time.

Even with this the parents are still not categorize as poor in this context because some these still have assets can sell to pay off or have rich friends that can pay for them or borrow them. Poor people will not see the bill of entrance form, uniform and school fees and enrol their children. This is not the type of school for the poor, better cut your coat according to your size to avoid had I known

Even by global standards, the infrastructure and architecture of this school are exceptional. I’ve never seen a school so well-constructed—not in the UK, Europe, or even the USA.
The amenities on display are truly impressive; it’s clear that no expense was spared.
We should take inspiration from this kind of design when planning our state schools. With thoughtful, creative architecture, excellence can still be achieved within budget.

Succinctly put.

Your STRONG response to the total B.S. post by that very notorious nuisance of a random poster (who is from the South East of Nigeria but claimed on another NL thread just last month to have lived for over 40 years in Lagos) is succinctly stated. His posts are overtly filled with political and ethnic bigotry that doesn't reflect his supposed age of 40+.

yes or no
This is just a new school that is just properbly commissioned and many more just know about it for first time. How has your yes or no stopped general comment for you to stop lamenting because you can't afford it? Do you have kids there before you started your general lamentation? How has putting your kids to school you can afford been so difficult for you to understand? If you complain of pocket poverty, it is understandable, but getting to mental poverty that you find it difficult to understand simple message is beyond the scope of this context?

The simple message is if you have kid there, check your pocket well and if you don't have and can't afford it, stay away and look for school you can afford. How is that difficult for you to understand?
