The cases of these men informed the establishment of the EFCC in 2004 by the Obasanjo administration. The list below represents the Igbo flank of the daredevil syndicate at the time spanning across all the tribes... There was an Ade Bendel who was their lord at the time. He's from Edo State and the loudest of them all. Between late 1980s and early 2000s were their prime stage of the "business" that could later designate Nigeria as the capital of advanced fee fraud in the entire Africa. 1. Chief Ikechukwu Anajemba 2. Chief Emmanuel Nwude 3. Chief Barr Fred Ajudua 4. Chief Emmanuel Ofolue 5. Chief Obum Osakwe 6. Chief Nzeribe Okoli 7. Chief Chuma --ekwelu 8. Chief Maurice Ibekwe 9. Mrs Amaka Anajemba 10. Chief Victor Okafor 11. Chief Polycarp Nwite 12. Chief John Nebeolisa 13. Pascal Ugwu 14. Kesandu Egwuonwu 15. Nnamdi Anisiobi 16. A current governor, just to mention but a very few. Oliver Decoque, Osita Osadebe and others praised these men to the highest heaven as they were the socialites of those times, throwing wads of the naira and foreign currencies at careless abandon. They constituted majority of the "happening men" of those days. Chief Polycarp Nwite from Ebonyi who was a member of the cartel kept a low-key due to his interest in politics. He later became a senator and senior special assistant to the Nigerian President on Political Affairs. He was one of the most dangerous of the members of the cartel that was rocking the system so badly. The seeds they sowed in those days have grown into a disturbing menace in our society today. Chief Emmanuel Nwude from Abagana, Anambra State sold an inexistent airport to a Brazilian *mgbada. Chief Barr Fred Ajudua from Ibuzo, Delta State focused on a variety of con commitments. He's still facing prosecution. These ones weren't into illicit drug deals, but were doing more than that. They were many. Most of them are now late, but many are still alive and bubbling after serving various jail terms. N/B: NCN's unhealthy competitors on Facebook can't give you this kind of historic update, for they know it not. NCN. THIS IS FROM NWOBA CHIKA NWOBA |

So it took the Supreme Court 7 years to rule on an appeal, they had serious work to do and they were still fvcking their wives/ husbands, going to occasions and traveling abroad while the work to do was looking at them, in America, serious cases like this can be ruled upon by a single supreme justice dedicated to handling such issues, we need to reform the judiciary |
| Re: Supreme Court Revokes Ajudua’s Bail, Orders His Remand by zoedew: 1:05pm On May 10, 2025 |
regenerateman:That is not the issue here. The point is, Ajudua having been ruled by the court of appeal as not before that court of appeal could not be heard by the same court on bail. That panel was either lazy mentally or compromised and I reiterate ought to be seriously reprimanded. |
| Re: Supreme Court Revokes Ajudua’s Bail, Orders His Remand by Iampromoted(m): 1:15pm On May 10, 2025 |
tnerro1:Not possible. The Supreme Court is a panel. You cant assign a single justice to handle such issues. |
| Re: Supreme Court Revokes Ajudua’s Bail, Orders His Remand by zoedew: 1:30pm On May 10, 2025 |
Iampromoted:Truth is, the Nigerian Supreme Court as presently constituted is ill suited for a country as large as Nigeria and operating a Federal System of Government. We should study and adapt the judicial structure of big countries with effective and efficient judiciary such as U.S. and may be Russia. |
