Why is Hong Kong listed separately from China?

This is like listing Lagos and Nigeria or New York City and United States as separate entries with their own numbers of billionaires, I'm not aware of any country that disputes Hong Kong's status as part of China (even Britain handed it over peacefully to China)

How do you convince the men in Main Market Onitsha or Mgbuka Obosi that Obi Cubana and E-Money are not wealthier than Elon Musk?
While wealth is calculated measured in assets, they use noise metrics to calculate wealth in that region.
