| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:20pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:So the only thing you don't know is if Jesus is the Almighty God? Wonderful 😂 |

Thankgod89:So from your explanation above, the will of Jesus was not part of his essence? |

gohf:As I’ve mentioned to "truthseeker10" before, I normally don’t engage in debates about whether Christ is God or not. I believe everyone should refer to Him as they have come to know Him—or as the Spirit has revealed Him to them. I’ve discussed this topic with you in the past, and I chose to agree with you at the time—not because I was fully convinced, but because I know these kinds of topics often lead to endless arguments. Honestly, I’ve also noticed that your choice of words can sometimes come across as impolite, and I’m not interested in having that kind of exchange. If anything I’ve said has come across as offensive or embarrassing, I sincerely apologize. Thank you. |

OP's question: If Jesus Is God Why Did He Say "Pray to Our Father"? Truthseeker10:At times i just leave them with whatever they think so far it doesn't make sense but they want to keep it. The OP knows what he's asking but these people will complicate issues and later say: QuinQ: |

Truthseeker10:How do you know what Jesus never said? This is thousands of years later. I am thousands of miles away from a totally different era and culture, don't speak the language nor know the culture. Even the very name I use, "Jesus", He was never called. Yet, based on some words remembered and misremembered, translated and mistranslated, transliterate, manipulated, mangled, you want me to overrule people who were right there and heard and saw everything. QuinQ:😂😂😂so because the people were there means that they could never have the wrong perception of Jesus. The same people who accused Jesus of going against ceasar? |

Truthseeker10:Jesus’ will is part of His essence—but He has two wills: one divine and one human. A divine will—in perfect unity with the Father John 5:19 - Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. John 6:38 - For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. A human will—which He subjected in obedience to the Father (Luke 22:42: “Not my will, but yours be done”) So, when Jesus submitted His will to the Father, He was doing so in His human will, not because His essence lacked divinity. His divine will was always in unity with the Father's will, because they are one in essence. |

Thankgod89:I can take this as you do not want to answer or you don't have any answer to the questions I asked you. The Holy Spirit is one, he doesn't reveal contradictory things as God is not an author of confusion. If you pretended to agree with me that has nothing to do with me but with you. If you don't want an argument or a debate, then you would answer the questions honestly and according to what is written. It may be okay to you for people to believe and know a lie but a lie won't set people free and for me it isn't okay for people to teach and preach what contradicts the truth. I understand the deception played by the devil to let many believe a lie he cooked up, but I don't understand why people feel the need to make a Jesus equal to God or a god. |

Truthseeker10:I know Jesus is God. "Almighty God" is your language. I leave that explanation to you |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:34pm On May 10, 2025 |
gohf:Jesus is God. I don't know how anybody can be arguing that. If not, tell us what he is |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:34pm On May 10, 2025 |
Thankgod89:So what exactly was the human will that Jesus had that was submitted to the Father? |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:35pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:Explain Genesis 17:1. Is that my language also? |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:37pm On May 10, 2025 |
gohf:Can you tell us where Jesus said he was not divine. "Once you've seen me you've seen the Father" "I and the Father are one" "I am in the Father and the Father is in me" |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by gohf: 1:39pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:you don't know how anybody can be arguing that? Are you blind? Are you not reading what is written for you to write you don't know how anybody can argue that. So to you Jesus must be God if he isn't then he is nothing. Irrespective of what God says, irrespective of what Jesus says, irrespective of the disciples and apostles wrote. Jesus must be God to you. If you want to know WHO JESUS IS, I have topics dedicated to bringing out scriptures and gospel verses in that regard you can read them. |

QuinQ:the devil went to the woman and asked is there any tree God said you should not eat from. There are questions that are demonic because they avoid God's revealed truth. So because I and my wife are one, it means my wife is me. So because Christ and the disciples and church are one, it means we are Christs. So because we abide in him and he is us, it means we are Jesus? What should I say to one who if you had ears you would hear what the Holy Spirit is saying |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:44pm On May 10, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:Anything is possible but if people in the Vatican with the new pope are saying he is claiming to be God, I can't be in Nigeria, thousands of miles away, don't speak Italian nor a Catholic and know better than them. Not to talk of after it's been thousands of years! |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:46pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:😂😂😂so now your knowledge is based on the Catholic church and not what Jesus said in the bible? 😂 |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:47pm On May 10, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:I don't have to explain anything. You are the one differentiating God from God so you do the explaining |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Thankgod89: 1:48pm On May 10, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:The human will of Jesus was His genuine human capacity to desire, decide, and act—especially in the face of suffering. It was perfectly aligned with God’s will, not by default, but by choice. In submitting it to the Father, Jesus didn’t deny His humanity—He fulfilled it in perfection. In the Garden of Gethsemane, we clearly see His human will in tension with the reality of the cross: “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.” (Luke 22:42) Here, His human will naturally recoils from suffering and death—but He chooses to submit that will to the divine plan of redemption. |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:49pm On May 10, 2025 |
gohf:Simple: Jesus is God, if He is not tell us what he is. No need for long thesis |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:52pm On May 10, 2025 |
Thankgod89:So from your explanation Jesus had to make his human will to conform to his own divine will? So Jesus had two conflicting will within himself while he was on earth? |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:53pm On May 10, 2025 |
gohf:Once again, Jesus is God the son of God (He is not like Moses or any other person). If he is not, tell us what he is |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:55pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:😂😂😂Baba don hook. You claimed "Almighty God" is my language na. Who spoke the one in Genesis 17:1? Was it Jesus? |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:55pm On May 10, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:It is an anology. I hope you know what that means!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 1:57pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:😂😂😂😂😂😂😂na wa. An analogy that assert that even with your Bible in hand, the pope has to tell you what Jesus did not say. Na wa oo😂😂 |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by QuinQ: 1:59pm On May 10, 2025 |
Truthseeker10:There is only one God. Adding "almighty" to it doesn't change anything |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 2:01pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:😂😂So Jesus is the one in Genesis 17:1? |

Truthseeker10:I hope I haven't been discussing with a total dunce. It was just an ANALOGY!!! Same way you can't know better than those in the Vatican what the new pope said! |
| Re: If Jesus Is God, Why Did He Say 'pray Our Father'? by Truthseeker10: 2:06pm On May 10, 2025 |
QuinQ:😂😂😂You can't know better Even with the bible in your hand? Did you ever ask the pope where Jesus said he was equal with God? |
