The funny part is that all five jets Pakistan claims to have shot down aren’t Rafales. Only three are Rafales and the other two are Russian. I am very sure you didn’t know this until I mentioned it just now. But somehow, because Pakistan did that using Chinese-made jets and missiles, you all have turned it into another China/Russia vs West situation.

The problem with you guys is how easily you narrow everything down to US/NATO vs Russia and China. You look for the side the US supports in any war and then backs that side. When the US does not appear to support any side, you will look for the side Russia or China supports and quickly demonize them.

I am sure that if Pakistan had shot those jets using its US-made F-16s, you all would have jumped behind Pakistan and would be supporting it. And by then, you won’t be talking about the three Rafales but will focus on the two Russian jets, and begin screaming about how the US F-16 is superior to Russian jets.

I believe you have a working brain. Make sure to make good use of it. But I know you won’t because there is nothing up there. If someone taps your head with a stick, it will make the same sound as an empty metal drum.

I understand if you don't want them using Western made weapons and all that comes with it but can you at least come up with a reason as regards your preference rather than the usual hate-clouded judgements? You yourself have attested to the fact that the Indians were once patriots of the Russian made machines so what led to the change of preference in favour of the French-made ones?
India had in the past lost Russian-built jets in battle and does that take anything away from the quality of these jets? Loss of jets in battle often depends on tactics, upgrades, and the adversity involved. Quit consuming and regurgitating nonsense at least for once in a lifetime.

Russia will close the skies over the Kapustin Yar test range, used for launching “Oreshnik”-type missiles, according to monitoring channels citing a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) of the QRTCA type (temporary airspace restriction due to dangerous activity) issued by the Rostov FIR (Flight Information Region).

From 06:00 UTC on May 12 to 04:00 UTC on May 13, airspace over parts of the Volgograd and Saratov regions—including the Kapustin Yar area—will be temporarily restricted. The closure applies from ground level to unlimited altitude, typical for ballistic missile tests.

Earlier, the U.S. Embassy in Kiev warned of a potential large-scale air attack in the coming days.
