Hamas Confirms It Will Release Israeli-american Hostage Edan Alexander. by Botragelad(op): 9:53pm On May 11, 2025

Hamas officially announces that it intends to release hostage soldier Edan Alexander, who holds American citizenship.

In a statement, Hamas says the decision to release Alexander comes after recent talks with US officials and “intensified efforts to achieve a ceasefire, open border crossings, and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.”

It does not say when Alexander will be released.

The terror group also says that it is prepared to enter intensified negotiations aimed at reaching a final agreement to end the war, establish a mutually “agreed prisoner exchange, and enable Gaza to be administered by an independent professional authority.”

Hamas uses the term “prisoner exchange” to refer to the release of hostages in exchange for Palestinian security prisoners.

For those who don’t understand Hamas’s game, here’s their plan.
They’re desperate. Now they’re clinging to hopes of a ceasefire, banking on Trump’s Middle East visit and dreaming he’ll recognise a "~~Palestine state~~." This hostage release? A cheap trick to look reasonable.

Handing back a victim doesn’t make a kidnapper a hero. It doesn’t erase the crime. There is no ~~"Palestine state,"~~ and Israel will not allow one, not in a way that favor Hamas, especially not for terrorists.
If anyone tries to force it, Israel will act. With or without the US. And you know exactly what that means.

The US navy aircraft carrier was also attacked on the red sea. Western media suppressed the news. Forget media propaganda, these guys are fully ready for US and Isreal.

It's so amusing that these guys re still keeping hostages. What exactly is the point they're trying to prove and why use human shields.
