From the beginning of creation God has decided to have creatures who will serve as His Witnesses everywhere they are.

The first creature lived with God for countless years before the creation of other creatures so he was with his God or Father (so to speak) while other creatures were made which makes him a coworker with his father in the creation of other things! Proverbs 8:22-30 compare to Colossians 1:15

This is the first and foremost WITNESS of the true God {Revelations 1:5} but later other witnesses emerged during creation these are like the first one they were all spirits like God {John 4:24} so He called them the "Morning Stars" {Job 38:7} but the first creature God called the "Bright Morning Star" Revelations 22:16


So being a WITNESS of the Creator means doing His will or working towards the same goal with Him {Isaiah 43:10} but sad to say some of God's Sons turned out to be selfish and arrogant this led them to rebel against Him and it affected all other creatures serving as His Witnesses both in heaven and on earth as these rebels kept making life unbearable for other servants of God! Revelations 12:10-12

God's Spirit Sons in heaven knew all these as nothing is hidden from them but how can creatures made in God's image who can't see what is happening in heaven knew all these?
Things turned really sour for the inhabitants of the earth as our first parents joined the rebellion against our God and father this led to suffering and untold hardship for Adam's descendants.

Of course God decided to end it once and for all time by destroying all the rebels but then mankind need to know so as to prevent a reoccurrence of the rebellion.

God first chose a nation among mankind and gave them laws that when anyone defaults such a person should be killed. Many misconstrued this for heartlessness saying God shouldn't have made such strict rules but God is using this to tell us what will happen in the future whenever any human chooses to become a rebel again after He has cleared all these mess. So be rest assured that after the destruction of all evildoers evil will be done away with for good!

So after knowing what a witness of the true God is but Christ came to planet earth thousands of years when many witnesses of God has died the next question to ask ourselves is who are Christians and why are they different from ancient servants of the true God?

Jesus the first born of all creation came down to become a human.
WHY?
If he comes as a spirit it will be difficult for us to imitate someone with whom we can't relate so to make thing easy for us God's first born became a human to live like a role model {John 1:14} setting the standard that all of us must follow. 1Peter 2 :21

Jesus explained that it's impossible for us to know up to what he has acquired as knowledge over billions of years because he's been with and learning from God (his father) from the beginning. So it's like Jesus has learned
so much from his father that he could say:

No one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does anyone fully know the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son is willing to reveal him. Matthew 11:27

From the above statement it's clear that if anyone wants to know God's attributes all we need to do is learn from Jesus. John 1:18 compare to Matthew 17:5

This is what makes Jesus the Christ: he gave up his comfort to preach and teach people all they need to know about God and His promises.

So having known what Christ means it's time to go back to our question.

Well you tried but know today that God is not a respecter of anyone so if you know that your religion is wrong there's no reason to delay waiting for God to come and right the wrong most especially when you find a better group doing God's will.

APOPTOSIS:
JEHOVAH'S WITNESS is operating at a different level.
They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.
I hold no grudge against them. They downplay commercialization of churches.
They entertain persecutions a lot, in fact more than several Christian bodies.
Seems in their church everyone is at same level irrespective of your degree, financial acquaintance and contacts.
And it seems they obey the Bible the most:
-They hardly disturb neighbors during prayers.
-They frown at intimidation and flamboyant lifestyles.
-They ensure financial gifts are covered and never displeased at whatever they recieve.
-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics
I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

Quite true. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are actually one of the few denominations who are still following Christ. Most churches now are headed by motivational speakers who only use the name of Jesus to preach other things. The goal is to attract members to their church and the members will bring the money.

They remain the most peaceful Christian denomination.
They do not pay tithes. They are the only Christian denomination yet to be commercialized. They are my favourite.

I would love to be a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

So if Christ means someone who lives his comfort zone in order to help others then a Christian should be someone who is helping others to the best of his ability in learning about God and His purposes.
As a Christian you must have a ministry this means setting aside time to preach and teach others just as Christ did.

Do you have a regular schedule for these activities?
If not then you are not a Christian so make it your aim to have a regular schedule for preaching and teaching at least you must have a Bible student in your neighborhood someone you will help to study about God and His purposes to get baptized and become a Christian (disciple of Christ) like yourself! Matthew 28:19-20

All servants of God from Jesus till today are JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES the last JWs are the Christians who are practicing what God's son laid down.

Jesus insisted saying whoever is not with him will perish {Luke 11:23} whereas the Jews of his day knew so many teachers of God's word each having students of their own.
So think of another group saying exactly what Jesus said in your own time while they remain the most peaceful group just as Jesus' group in the first century!

I will run my ministry like Jehovah's Witnesses where they don't talk about money and do not use money at all.
Jehovah is the only provider, who will provide for his ministry using fish like for Jesus and Peter.

Christianity was founded on selfless service, the founder established a system that's none beneficial for financial gains.
Jesus depends on his fellow believers for whatever he needs materially because he never got married nor have children it was easy for him to move around with nothing to worry about everything he used came from his fellow believers who voluntarily used whatever they had to support his ministry and also taught them to share whatever they have among themselves.
So it was difficult for anyone in the first century to commercialize Christianity as the founder is against such financial gain from the work he assigned to them.

Jesus taught his disciples that if anyone is willing to do the work he assigned to them it's from the heart such a person should determine what he wants to do for his or her God. In life we feel like living it to the fullest so whoever believes he or she can't focus totally on the ministry without looking back at the material things of the world could also be a Christian making his schedule for secular work, marriage, rearing children and at the same time setting aside time for his ministry.
Most of Jesus' friends were married by the time he got baptized so after his return from the wilderness he started calling them to join him and because they knew one another from childhood they followed him but those who weren't married at the time remained unmarried because they don't want to complicate things for themselves while married ones continued the struggle.

However both the married and unmarried Jesus promised they will rule with him in heaven.

Why?

Jesus said:

“However, you are the ones who have stuck with me in my trials; and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel" Luke 22:28-30

So if anyone wants to serve Jesus' friend in our time it depends the condition of his or her heart, you must be dedicated to the work even though you are married Jesus knows what you can do he wouldn't demand more than that from you that's why he said:

"Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for yourselves. For my yoke is kindly, and my load is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

A yoke is what is placed on the neck of two animals of equal size and strength in ancient times so that both of them could work easily alongside each other.
So when Jesus said "take my yoke upon you and learn from me" he is telling you to be his coworker carrying the same burden together, note that the animals that are yoked together must be of equal size and strength but in this case Jesus is telling you that no matter how feeble you may be he is ready to work with you coming to your level which will make you an achiever despite your limitations.
So whether you are fully burdened with marriage responsibility or single Jesus is ready to work as your partner and make you successful in your ministry {Matthew 19:10-12} just make sure your life is simple and free from greed! Matthew 6:22-24

But after the death of his apostles when men were sleeping Satan succeeded in polluting the doctrine of Christianity and different ideas which promotes worldly politics devastated the group {Matthew 13:25} from that time till today many things Jesus condemned was promoted among those claiming Christians.
So who is a Christian today?
Is he just the usual churchgoer?
The answer is NO!
A true Christian is one who keeps on seeking to know the truth about Jesus and what he commanded his disciples to keep on doing as God's will such a person will not relent until he finds the narrow path {Matthew 7:13-14} where those threading it stick to one lane it is called the Way Of Holiness! Isaiah 35:8
