Wike has done so much within a short while in Abuja. Trust me he's the best thing ever happened to Abuja and the FCT forget the past guys. The only thing with Wike is d PDP crisis he's fixing and Rivers politics. I'm still a big fan of WIKE today and forever FTC after a long time. |

Wike the Mr Project. It took former Governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa 8 years to construct one flyover (sub standard quality) It took former Governor of Abia State Okezie Victor Ikpeazu 8 years to construct one flyover (sub standard quality) It took Wike only 4 years to construct 12 flyovers in Rivers State using Julius Berger. In just 2 years in FCT, Wike has completed 4 fly overs using good Construction Companies. All the roads are designed to last 30 years. Wike na man you be ✅💪 Big stomach Philip Aduda, I see you |

daveP:Stop disposing wastes into drainage systems and stop building houses along water routes. Flooding will be impossible in Abuja if the masses adhere to simple rules. We are also part of the government. |

emekanairaland:This same advise since Marwa days and yet, flooding affects communities because of poor urban planning. Share the responsibility into % and this is how it has always been since the 80s Terrible urban planning: 70% Indiscriminate Waste disposal: 30% Plus, there's also terrible preventive measures and repercussions. Alll on FG or the Govt in power. Till then |

daveP:Great observation, but not true. The Abuja master plan is very much active with the best drainage system in west Africa. If you take a closer look at flooded areas, you will definitely notice why Nigerians are so difficult. People extend their plot areas to buffer zones just to gain more plot size after allocation. These buffer zones around river routes were properly plan for, Incase there is an increase in the volume of water. People also find joy in disposing their wastes into drainage systems. Nigerians don't even realize what they have until it's too late, that's when they will start complaining about flood. |

BondRiv:Federal govt has a role to play in ensuring that all states are developed. They can start by ficxing all the federal roads in those states and giving incentives for national companies to spread their businesses in those places. Also they should scatter thr headquarters of key govt offices across nigeria |
