The young man borrowed N8,300 from a loan app in November 2022 and thanked the loan company for teaching him ‘the hard way’

He displayed a piece of information regarding the loan he had taken and the amount he repaid to the company

Jah Bless, a Nigerian content creator, has generated reactions on social media after announcing that he finally repaid a loan of N8,300 he had taken about three years ago.

The man tagged the loan company to inform them about his action and appreciated them for teaching him ‘the hard way.’

In a Facebook post, the young man displayed details of the loan he had taken back on November 17, 2022.

“Dear PalmPay Nigeria I’ve just paid back the loan I took from you guys about 3yrs ago. Thanks for teaching me the hard way😑.”

Man owing loan app for years laments

Meanwhile, Fox Nigeria previously reported that a man owing a loan app for two years had cried out after redownloading the application.

This is because he found out that his debt had climbed to N1.4 million. When he noticed the amount, he took to Facebook to ask the lawyer for a solution.

A barrister advised the desperate man to sort out the loan issue urgently as it could affect his credit score and deny him many future opportunities.
He further advised the debtor to visit the loan company’s office and plead to be on ‘fair ground.’

The f ool was probably hired by Palm pay to advertise their loan offer with his scam story.
There is no where that loan amount would amount to that meagre sum after 3 years.
If Palm pay was honest they should tell other people to come out with the interest accruing to their principal sums after just months, not even years that the loan was left unpaid.
Idiot!

Do loan apps still exists, they reigned during Buhari's era. But now that the Naira is worthless I don't think people still patronize them anymore.

8k to 20k in 3 years. Sounds fair to me.

Real question is. Why would you borrow a business's money and disappear for 3 years?

Are you related to Satan?

Don't pray to have this experience. Loan apps are like police that would warn you "My friend you think I'm your friend."

These loans from loan Apps and even banks in my opinion are financial traps, once you fall prey to any, it becomes too hard to survive without the loans, almost like evil spirits. Islam warned us against them and it's in our own interest to yield the warning.
