Try the contact center link.

Did you have a different address from the time you paid for the fees and now? Does your address get important mails
The link is not helpful. My address hasn’t changed, I used a PO Box because I wanted to make sure that there’s no mistake in delivery. It’s been over 90 days since I got here. I heard it’s within 90-120 days.

Thanks, I have been able to book the appointment. I filled in a house address different from the one on my application so far, that's why I was getting error messages.

There was an option to use P.O Box address. I already received my SSN about 2 weeks after arrival. The SSN was sent to my address not P.O Box.

Good morning guys, please I need a help. My brother went to interview at the Lagos consulate last year and he was told to get a DNA test done which he did and he submitted his documents to the OIS services. When he got a mail to pick up his passport, he went to get it but there was no visa in his passport and he was given the same slip requesting a DNA. At this point, we are confused and we don’t know what to do. We have contacted the embassy and sent a mail to the DNA office but there’s no response at all.

Has anyone had this type of experience before? Does anyone have an ideas what need to be done?
Please help me.

Good day my wonderful people.

Thank you for always giving prompt and correct information on this platform. God bless you all. Amen.

I have a question pertaining my application.

My dad wants to do a US study visa for my wife. He even went ahead to pay someone about $2500 to help with the application cos he has excellent US study visa approval (80%). Haaa!

My question is although my wife is well-travelled, she is ,sadly, a US migrant F3 applicant as I added as a FOLLOWING in my filing process.

Will her US study visa application be refused automatically on such grounds?

The paid-agent who claims to have interned with the USCIS at some points in his career said he has helped some guys who are being filed for get US study visas. He is even surprised I was refused at all.

He subsequently said my wife stands a chance of getting a US study visa. How true is this! Sorry I'm a doubting Thomas.

Please what are the chances cos I don't want the $2500 to go into waste?

Also, the agent said I could be given a dependent visa to follow her. I don't trust this information.

Please how true is this cos I have been refused the US study visa twice cos I am been filed for?

Hope this agent is not only out to milk an-already-lean cow.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Did you book your DNA test at a designated centre.?
I expect they should have provided a designated centre. Those centers will send results directly to the embassy.

If you do send email pls send to the email for immigrant visa and use subject line clearly..eg DNA test then name of applicant

Look for the most recent Visa bulletin
The first table for family based visas, check F4 and if the date under the rest of the world is on or past your date then it's current.

To find Visa bulletin ..just search in Google latest US visa bulletin you'll see links just click on the link for USCIS and check

So the recent changes in enforcement of immigration policy is changing how immigrants are being seen.
I wanted to advice all intending new migrants coming in as green card holders. Remember that although this means you can permanently reside in the US, it is still a privilege. So please avoid getting into trouble and anything that will cause you to get detained or filing of anything with the police.
Leave protests for citizens
Check and recheck don't do fraud or try to be sharp ..tolerance is low

Some good news

If you're DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED. The Department of State has introduced a tool for you to check when you can expect your interview date

If your mum has been scheduled for interview then the list of things to do would have been in the email sent to her or her child (petitioner) .
Look at it and follow the directions

CR and IR are immediate family so there's no visa cap

F1 is not immediate family as far as US immigration is concerned.

crisycent:
Hello Gurus in the house. I am an F4 applicant, I received an email (appointment letter) from NVC and my appointment date is stated in the letter. Please I have a few URGENT questions.

1. Do I have to register on https://www.usvisaappt.com/ or should I attend the interview with just the letter since the date and time is stated on the letter?

2. I registered on https://www.usvisaappt.com/ (as per instructions on the prep website) but I get an error message whenever I input my case ID. My case ID starts with LGS *****. Am I wrong? is there a different case ID? I also tried the Case Master ID, same error. (Picture attached).

3. What is the correct process/steps of confirming interview on https://www.usvisaappt.com?

PLEASE NOTE: I just signed up on https://www.usvisaappt.com today. Do I have to wait for a few days before confirming my interview date?

Bro, I have been in the US since 2021. The whole process is getting slower. You can Imagin, if it were to be a steady year to year movement, you should have been hear by now. Wish you all the best.

The current priority date is 1st January 2008 while those that are documented. qualified to received welcome letter and appointment from NVC are 1st June 2008.

You still have an estimate waiting time of three years maximally to wait to received your own welcome letter if the process moves faster.

We have the almost the same date, mine is March 2011. Good luck bro
