School is stress, I tell you.... What is the point suffering for almost a percent of your life going to school just for a certificate that does not lead you to a job, is better you just pay for a university degree certificate and masters certificate put any course of your choice, and you have finally graduated no stress.....

Many Nigerians did it, even your formal and new president.... undecided

Why take random scripts, what if they were not random. How about selecting the script of those who requested for the re marking and make available the question paper and the answers. Jamb should simply make public the question papers for all the exams along with the answers. Everyone will then mark their script. That is transparent

With the prevalent lack of comprehension, narrow-mind and unteachable spirits displayed on social media especially here on Nairaland by majority of the Youth - No critical thinking; broader view of life is zero - I already knew that passing JAMB will be a herculean task to such generation!
You can't be supporting obi and pass Jamb. How?

Exams is not passed by emotion or beer parlor talk ,exam is passed by fact through research

Majority of these students do not prepare for exams by reading their books and study for exams..they spend majority of their time in social media, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube watching adults immoral movies and music videos.. parents do not monitor and discipline their children in reading their books and studying and preparing for exams ..so it's not jamb fault

I'm afraid it won't.

You underestimate the gravity of Nigeria's problems.
If you closely observe what Athena Centre does with election results, you will know they are compelling INEC and the judiciary to always do the right thing. The moment INEC becomes transparent and independent, nothing can stop Nigeria's greatness. The only problem is that we don't know when INEC will attain those.

Thank you, Chief Osita Chidoka, for your perspective on the 2025 JAMB results and the steps being taken to address public concerns. While I appreciate the transparency demonstrated by JAMB in their efforts to review the results and address the issues in Lagos and the South East, it is important to acknowledge that there are still significant concerns that need further scrutiny.

Firstly, the fact that these issues have affected specific regions raises questions about the robustness of JAMB's internal systems and the consistency of its examination process nationwide. While re-marking of scripts is a step in the right direction, it is troubling that such discrepancies occurred in the first place, especially in a national examination system that impacts millions of students.

Moreover, the transparency of the review process, though commendable, should not overshadow the urgency of addressing the root causes of these issues. Was there a failure in the technical infrastructure or an oversight in the initial assessment? What steps are being taken to ensure that such errors do not recur in future examinations? These are questions that need clear and detailed answers.

While I understand that JAMB has made efforts to communicate and engage with stakeholders, the delay in providing formal feedback to affected candidates and the public is a concern. In such critical matters, especially in an examination system that has such a profound impact on students' futures, swift and thorough communication is essential. Any prolonged uncertainty only exacerbates public frustration and diminishes trust in the institution. I listened to the JAMB spokesman on TVC, it was disappointing, disturbing and discouraging.

In conclusion, while JAMB’s efforts to review the 2025 results are commendable, the focus must now be on the students preparing for their upcoming WAEC exams. These students have worked hard, and they deserve a fair and reliable system that reflects their efforts. It is not all of them that are on social media and the ones that put so much effort into succeeding should not be cheated. We cannot afford to set a bad example, as we did with INEC, where unresolved issues undermined public trust. It’s vital that we restore confidence in our examination processes, ensuring that students get the results they deserve and can move forward without doubt.

You see .. it's just bunch of wickedness and i don't care attitude.. ravaging the system, nation wide ..

Just like INEC systems too... During and aftter candidate examination.. who audited the computerized marking scheme?

We just do random sampling at the expenses of others... Using 10yrs ago statistics to fail young candidates...

Most accredited CBT centers are using obsoletes ICT infrastructures... And this would undermine the results of brilliant candidates too... Even Jamb technical officers, most of them are inexperience.. to monitor. .when things doesn't go right within the system...

Employee people based on merits .. u say Noo..

But employ based on internal referrals.. just have your Bsc from Unilorin in any career.. relevant or irrelevant... And a core Muslim background... Then have someone close to oloyede.. only then u can work with JAMB..

The result is what you see playing around today...

You don't have to believe this story... But it's the reality here..

When will JAMB make its result to be valid for more than one year?
That will not be to the advantage of JAMB and the reason it will be difficult to do that by JAMB except by the national assembly's review of the acts that set up JAMB. What it means is that JAMB will be collecting registration money once in two or three years. What happens to their target?

Oga!! Jamb was not created to exploit the poor...
..at some point, WAEC became prone to fraud, malpractices and the need for dual control has never been greater.....
....A-level Cambridge has been on for years, with zero or very little of malpractices /fraud cases, otherwise a control measure would have been introduced

.if a student passed WAEC excellently there's nothing stopping them from dusting the second level control exam (JAMB)

When will JAMB make its result to be valid for more than one year?
Good question. Also, they should change the exam to something like the US SAT & ACT exams which are being conducted many times in a year.

The SAT scores are valid forever as they never expire, but many top colleges have policies limiting score validity periods to less than 2years, while other colleges may accept scores from within the past 5 years.

You still are underestimating Nigeria's problems.

It's beyond the judiciary and electing credible leaders.

Modified.

Now see an example in the link below..

Did the judiciary or INEC create this type of thinking?

It's beyond elections and the Judiciary man.

Our country will grow when public institutions are accountable, citizens are active, and organisations remain vigilant. ---- Chidoka O.

Public institutions in Nigeria will never be accountable to citizens. This half-hearted effort by JAMB is infinitesimal.

Active citizens in Nigeria can easily be mowed down by bullets of the law enforcement agencies.

Organisations in Nigeria are vigilant to the extent the law enforcement agencies can allow them.
What happened to INEC use of glitch to undermine the results of the 2023 presidential election?
