Remember when Henry Cavill said he preferred Joss Whedon's take on Superman.

Ben Affleck has come out to say that DC movies (especially BVS) was too adult. Even his own son couldn't watch it.

That's two actors coming out to say they didn't like the dark, gritty version of the iconic characters they played.

Snyderbros will gaslight you and argue that Snyder was taking DC on the right path.

The only actor that really appreciated Snyder's vision was Ray Fisher because obviously Cyborg was the best written character.
The other actors have complaints.

Imagine playing an iconic character like Batman and your son can't even enjoy it.

Batman is a character for all ages. Most of us here saw TDK for the first time when we were kids, we watched Batman The Animated Series and JL early morning cartoons as kids and we loved it.

Snyder misunderstood these characters.

Counter-point, he didn’t misunderstand. The direction he took his movies is not fit for the cinematic universe WB wanted. I’ve said it here before, the dceu would have been better if it was an elseworld story.

Still not impress with the movie/trailer - it looks more like a glorified CW show.

The response to the teasers and the trailers have been overwhelmingly positive it's mostly Snyder fans that have been hating.
I trust James Gunn to bring his best, this movie will be successful.

The movie is already too choked with characters for a solo Superman movie, so it will definitely be the above name...
