Kumasi - Ghana: A group of spare parts traders at the popular Kumasi Magazine hub have sent off their deceased colleague in a rather bizarre fashion—using a forklift to hover the coffin during the burial ceremony.

The send-off, which took place at the forecourt of the St. John of the Cross Parish in Kronum, Kumasi, quickly gained viral attention after videos showed the suspended coffin with a man sitting on it being paraded mid-air by a forklift, to the shock and bewilderment of onlookers.

While some attendees appeared to cheer the display, others have criticized the act as disrespectful and disgraceful.

Many Ghanaians have since taken to social media to express their disapproval. One commenter wrote, "Two things Ghanaians love the most: funerals and eggs." grin Another added, "If we say our mind on them right now, you will see the insults. To think they have chiefs and elders in those towns but are able to do such disgraceful things is what we call ‘Lord, I’m amazed’."

Despite the backlash, some have defended the traders, describing the gesture as a final show of respect in their own unique way.

Ghanaians and crazy abi na creative burial process, usually make coffin based on the occupation of the seas person while he was alive.

In Cameroon, there are few tribes that if you are a Lawyer and die, you aren't buried with face up( normal way) rather, the dead person is face downwards( prone position) because it's believed that while on earth the Lawyer would have lied so much( lol).
