Africankel:Kel, congratulations. It's now a tradition for us to get these visas. That is what you enjoy when you're a frequent traveler, my last sa visa came in 5days too. So, prepare and apply for a long term visa as advised subsequently. As for your staff evisa,I do hope he receives. Keep us posted. |

Africankel:Why will they give someone just 10 days to stay? huh What if you have other businesses that might need you to stay for more than 10 days? These guys are not being fair honestly. |

adefreshguy:Don't continue with this 425 rands payment. It been like that for some weeks according to the report on the Facebook. Funniest, Home Affairs being a notorious institution has not posted one single memo online about this. People's monies keep getting debited. Use VFS. All the best |

Please I uploaded the necessary document on the e-visa portal and skipped the additional ones that are not relevant like adoption order, spouse affidavit then submitted, while trying to make payment it shows no payment information retrieved, then go ahead to show me R425 when I click on it it shows this Please could it due to incomplete documentation Or just a service issue on the portal

Good day. please I need help. I am applying for study visa and I used Momentum as suggested. while registering, I didn't realise that I made a mistake in my passport number until they sent me the confirmation and I needed to download the document to print for submission. My passport number didn't work, so I started doing trial by error until it worked and I realised that I has missed a number in my passport number during registration. What is the best line of action for me at this point, should I submit like that then write to momentum about this error because I can't afford to book another submission appointment. Urgent help needed please. |

Hello good day everyone. I’ll really appreciate responses here thank you. I am applying for a South African visa to attend a work conference. I have my documents complete it’s just that my processing time left is 10 business days. I’m just scared it’s not enough time for it to be approved. The conference is just for 4 days and I’m a first time traveler. Anyone that has gotten a visa within this time frame can assist with their own experience . I’m applying via vfs by the way |

Hello Everyone, For people that have gotten their visa through SA evisa, I have two questions: 1. Do you do biometrics after applying through SA Evisa for visitor visa. 2. I understand there is a payment issue going on with SA evisa website, does anybody know when it will start working? I will appreciate any answers, suggestions or advice on these two questions. Thank you |

Goodevening everyone. I and my wife got postdoc and applied for visa separately..they approved a one year visa for postdoctoral research. I booked my flight one way flight separately through wakanow TAAG airline. My wife booked with our children the next day, a one way flight, the wakanow agent sent a message that she is supposed to book a round trip for herself and the three children since it's visitor visa. But my agent did not tell me that We don't have the money to do that Is there anyone here who got a visitor visa on postdoc who went to south Africa for postdoc and booked only a one way flight? Please I need guidance. Thank you very much. |

Desperadooo:Check the condition written on your visa. If it says "must hold return ticket", you must have it. |
| Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Desperadooo: 9:15pm On May 08, 2025 |
Under the conditions..they said postdoctoral research visa at university of Johannesburg admitted until 30/03/2026 Check the condition written on your visa. If it says "must hold return ticket", you must have it.[/quote] |
| Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by oluayebenz: 10:04pm On May 08, 2025 |
Desperadooo:Since your wife hold a visitor visa, return ticket is highly mandatory |
| Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Desperadooo: 8:45am On May 09, 2025 |
It's not. Just like the first person said it's dependent on the condition of your visa. I just asked those with short visitor's visa they stated it that they must have onward or return ticket. But ours which is a long term visitor's visa. Does not have the conditions. oluayebenz: |

Desperadooo:Ok I hope you won't explain tire at the boarding point. Any visitors visa validity less than a year, then return ticket is highly recommended. Everywhere good |

Foxfire12345:Hi this happened to me All I did then was take a screenshot and write them and it was rectified in a week and some days Plus using this site for now is not really a good idea as it's full of glitches and the process take longer than usual I would advice you make use of the VFS site or submit physically |
