Widespread criticism has trailed the University of Ilorin and Lagos State University for showing support to the JAMB registrar during a period marked by serious technical and human lapses, which were responsible for the mass failure of students from Lagos State and the five South-East states in the 2025 JAMB examination https://x.com/UnilorinNGR/status/1922964851460038893?t=BdSzD_ddKPWrErSyjmTpwg&s=19 https://x.com/LASUOfficial/status/1922918907528028355?t=v1bFY-SrF_wTwxIcsh7ezg&s=19

A flop is a flop. No need sugarcoating it. JAMB has apologized and taken responsibility. However there must be accountability in office. JAMB chair should resign. They should let this issue be. |

Yes, "he is a thief, but we're happy that he's our thief" That's their only explanation even when all the facts are not yet uncovered. |

Lol This is why Nigeria is where it is. We romanticize mediocrity, and there's no consequences for shitty actions. If not, why would universities be putting out disjointed statements in a matter that's not their business? APC has robed the image of this country in a garment of shame. |

Racoon:This matter must not be allowed to die. It must receive international publicity. The attempt by the APCled government to destroy the future of Igbo kids must not be allowed to be swept under the carpet |

G0odharddick:enough? Really? This country is peopled by heediots. In Australia, someone would go to prison for this and many will lose their jobs, but let's forget about it, after all it doesn't affect you |

Bede2u:You are very correct, the only way to achieve significant development in Nigeria is when people are held accountable for their actions and lack of it. |

OfoIgbo:It is really a terrible situation. These western institutions solidarity simply showed they don't care what become of the integrity, balancing and harmony expected of a government institution like JAMB as far as educational development is concerned. Too bad! So sad for a nation. |

This country amazes me. This was totally unnecessary. What's the support for? What of the students who have suffered. |
