Despite protests trailing the Lagos Chairmanship primaries, APC’s Felix Morka says no significant complaints have reached the party’s national leadership.

He responded to growing public concerns, affirming that the Lagos chapter remains under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and that an appeal committee has been established to review all complaints.

Speaking, Morka emphasised that while protests have erupted in parts of Lagos, the national headquarters of the party has not received any formal or substantial complaints regarding the conduct of the primaries. “Quite frankly, we have not received complaints that worry us,” he said.

He clarified that primary elections at the local level are generally managed by the state chapters of the party, noting that the national APC leadership rarely gets involved in such processes unless they pertain to national elections. “Local government elections are within the province of the state chapter and the state leadership of the party,” Morka stated.

Addressing controversies surrounding the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, Morka advised caution in interpreting political influence and public perception. “We must understand, in politics, there’s a lot of ascriptions. People ascribe all kinds of things to people,” he said.

Wonders shall never cease. For those APC foot soldiers always constituting nuisance on every thread defending APC shenanigans, a party who doesn't give a flying fvck about you, your family or future. You can see the outcome of the local government election in Lagos. Now all these APC bigwigs are making it a family thing, monarchical system of government. An average Nigeria politician will train his kids abroad and after graduation, he will bring them back to work in CBN, NNPC etc. Dey there dey shout on your mandate we stand🤣🤣🤣
