GloriousGbola:The Suleja boys in my generation were extremely brilliant that the smuggled rich kids wont survive there That is a school that was created solely for academic excellence unlike Unity schools where its for Unity Pro Unitate |

BlueRayDick:But there'll always be a cake to loot even if the country is dissolved. So, what exactly are they scared of? Or it's not fear, but rather love of the northerners? I just can't come to terms with it. |

raumdeuter:The point is, there's nothing unifying about "Unity Schools" at least not in the last 10 years. We never ever called it Unity school. And as such, everyone should be admitted by virtue of their academic proficiency. |

TemporaryHansel:Population… Population distribution across the regions continues to be the strongest influence that determine electoral success/ power in Nigeria and that why the South defers. If it is about our most valuable resource, the South should have more influence and control our economy: polity. |

akwesenana:The people who created the school said its not for academic proficiency first, rather its for Unity. You enter school that they said was created for unity come dey argue say it shouldn't be for Unity |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by akwesenana: 9:27pm On May 16, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Well, what they said isn't what's on ground. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by akwesenana: 9:27pm On May 16, 2025 |
Tbh, I no even sure say person with 4 or 2 go gain admission to any federal school. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 9:28pm On May 16, 2025 |
akwesenana:What is on ground is shown on the cutoff marks If its not for Unity, but for academic first, the entire country will have 1 flat cutoff mark |

Roland17:Sure, that matters when you're chasing votes but my exchange with BlueRay was about something deeper: why southern politicians refuse to push for the breakup of this country. He argued that clinging to the current structure lets them keep tapping into the so-called national cake. And that’s when it hit me ,these people must be criminally short-sighted. Even if Nigeria breaks, there’ll still be cake -possibly more. A southern Nigeria unshackled from the economic and ideological drag of the North could be richer, more developed, and far more functional. Which, ironically, means even more loot for the same politicians. So what exactly are they waiting for? Fear? Laziness? Stockholm syndrome? Because it clearly isn’t strategy. They’re not protecting unity, they’re protecting a system that keeps them comfortably mediocre. |

TemporaryHansel:Still hinges on population distribution. For any conversation about Southern independence to succeed, you need the HOR and Senate. Irrespective of party affiliation, guess which region has the most representation in both house? How did they get more senatorial zones? Population. This is why I said earlier that Asiwaju may be revamping the equation to winning elections, which has long term consequences if he succeeds. |

Told them , warned them repeatedly they didn't listen, they have been cursed to be blinded by hatred now a new middle east is coming soon,I don't expect all Palestinians to migrate but I expect majority to go. Israel will take over Gaza permanently, after this war the memory will forever be imprinted in the brain ,then the ones in shit hole country will look back and curse the day Hamas was formed.

Roland17:Assuming what you're suggesting succeeds, won't be the first time a candidate would be winning an election without core Northern votes, Buhari had those core North votes for years and was losing before he made an alliance that saw him over the finish line. |

Ibime:I personally attended a unity school which is much like the federal school and we were even rivals at competitions |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:43am On May 17, 2025 |
Dathypebruv:It’s the same thing . He’s only saying that nobody calls the schools as unity schools in the past , most of us know those schools as Federal government college (FGC) and federal government girls college (FGGC) |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Dathypebruv(m): 6:48am On May 17, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:That's quite true as the federal schools were more popular than unity schools |

Amoto94:David Hundeyin is a delusional.Conspiracy theorist whose world view is formed by his failure to do anything with himself in Obodo Oyinbo which turned him into a frustrated marxist revolutionary blaming all his problems on the white man. And yes, he studied MassCom at Igbinedion before finishing off in UK with Creative writing. He couldn't find a visa-worthy job in the UK Corporate world unlike all of his siblings who are accomplished Professionals abroad including his sister who attended my university, and he was bounced back to Nigeria to be doing two bit work here and there until ENDSARS finally gave him platform. His failure to make his way in the Western corporate world drove him into Marxism and Communism which is why he is now a Champion of Communism on the African continent, a big shame and disgrace on his family and late father who was an accomplished entrepreneur. He is basically the failure and black sheep of his family, trying to carve another lane in African Marxism. When it comes to investigative work and digging dirt, he is good at that one, but he sucks as an opinion shaper because he has no real world experience and all his views come from a place of failure and frustration, and his marxist opinion pieces on Africa belong in the dustbin. |
