MUMUni, I said the UAE, just like Saudi Arabia, is equally as Islamically conservative and that in fact, more than 97% are either Sunni practicing the sunna of the prophet (pbuh) or Shia yet, they don’t overdo like the uneducated folks we have down here in Nigeria and those other 5th-world Arab countries.
The point is that “na only the lowest of the lows and the wretched of the society dey carry religion for head like gala. Rich and well-to-do individuals and countries are too exposed, sane and tolerant that they take things easy.
You can fact check me, most of the Islamic countries doing economical well are all liberal and welcoming yet their religious values are not affected (Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi, Bahrain) while those other societies that are fanatically opposed to sanity are wretched (examples are: Yobe, Sokoto, Kano, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, YEMEN and etc.)
