The best performances I have seen from Nigerian U-21s are in 1989 (Christopher Ohehen set) and 2005 ( Mikel Obi set) which has a lot of people disappointed when you consider the expectations on a country that had won the U17 World Cup 5 times and more than any nation on earth..it is disappointing

We never won any U-17 World Cup under Obasanjo. We won an U-17 under Yar'Adua in 2007, we won another under GEJ in 2013 and we won our last one under Buhari in 2015.


We have never won an U-20 World Cup. Ghana is the only African country to have won an U-20 World Cup.


You also accused APC of destroying sports in Nigeria. Let me educate you even more.

It was under Buhari that our female basketball team won the Afro Basketball Competition three consecutive times, making history.

They won the fourth one under Tinubu. This means that before APC, the Tigress had only won the Championship two times. But under APC, they have won it a record 4 consecutive times.

It was also under Tinubu (and APC) that the Tigress won their first Olympics game in 20 years and advanced to the Quarter Finals of the Olympics for the first time ever. They also became the first African basketball team (both male and female) to qualify for the Quarter Finals at the Olympics.


It was also under APC, that our male basketball team won their first ever FIBA African Championship.

Most of you forget the essence of this cadet tournament.This is for discovery of budding football talents and not a win at all cost syndrome using over aged players.

When I said you obviously know nothing about the tournament I wasn't actually mincing words.
A simple Google search would have saved you from this mental blindness instead arguing aimlessly!

And I just googled it ..we have won the Afcon u20 a record 7 times.
S-E-V-E-N TIMES!

No country comes close to us except Ghana and Egypt who have own it 4 times respectively.

Remember;I never said we won FIFA U20 WC.
We've only being finalist twice!

Ghana happens to be the only African country to have won it,the Dede Ayew's (Apedi Pele's son) set won that tournament then.
