I am new to this group and I need clarity on tuition

@hannania, I have an admission to a state (public) school but my course has tuition. On the checklist for study visa, it’s stated that applications with admission to private schools should come with proof of one year tuition to the embassy, however, I have also heard that regardless of the school, If tuition is involved, proof of one year tuition has to be made available. Can you or any other person kindly confirm this?

To give more information:
1. The course is the life science management course with HTW Berlin.
2. Tuition is €16,000
3. Based on current information on the group that I could read, I might be getting AD by next month. I applied 8th of September 2023.
4. The school has a 50% scholarship I applied for with decision to be received in June 2025, so fingers crossed.

Appointment dates that they are given are to applicants from 2023. New applicants have to wait for 18months.

Blocked accounts is simply opening an account in a german bank, fund with approximately £12k and you have access to it when you arrive Germany

For the block account you can get a Verpflichtungserklärung [ Guarantor ] which eliminates the need for the €12,000.

Please how can I assess this. I have issues raising that 12k Euro for my blocked account, I will gladly accept any legitimate means. My interview is August

Much like TU Munich, University of Tübingen now requires student to pay tuition fee unlike 5 years ago.

I think embassy is still in August 2023.

So you either plan for summer admission or simply look for and apply to a school that allows deferment or at least can issue you a new admission letter so long as you've previously been admitted for the same program in the same school.

Yes I got admission and I was also told to pay tuition fees of almost 1800euros, though my friend said I should send then mail that I Might be exempted from tuition fees because my citizenship might be listed in d statues for exemption approved by the Senate of d university of Tubingen

The school is a good one especially their Computer Science and AI program but they collect tuition fee

Hello everyone, I got a Sponsorship Certificate from my Uncle in Germany but it has the remark "Bonitat nicht nachgewiesen (creditworthiness not proven)." Does anyone know if the embassy would accept this? If not, what can I do?

No, they wouldn't. Its supposed to be marked nachgewiesen( the financial capability of the sponsor has been proven)

Goodmorning everyone. I recently gained admission into a uni in Germany for Msc computer science. I finished my undergrad 2023 with a first class (4.68). Do I qualify for category A?. And please what’s the waiting period for category A. Thank you

There is no longer category A or B on the new portal. The current waiting time is 18months except you have a scholarship from public funds or daad
