Read about a case some few years back, a man bought coca-cola in quantities and shipped abroad, thinking of the profit he's going to make, when the consignment got to the designated country, it was shipped back to Nigeria , declaring it unfit for human consumption. so the man sued coca-cola bottling company. The following conversation took place
Prosecutor:Why did you produce a substandard product for me to export, there by making me to lose my resources.
Defendant:we never knew you wanted to export it, the drinks we produce in Nigeria is made for Nigerian market and not for export.
So you see, the coca-cola might look same but not the same quality. Mind you this really happened in Nigeria, it's no fiction .
Lie lie.. Nigeria made carbonated drinks are exported to Europe on a daily basis without issues...
Keep trying to demarket ur nation .
Companies think Globally but act locally. Mandatory use of local raw materials and only source for materials that can't be produced locally. It doesn't make locally made goods inferior

the issue wasn't even with coke but with Fanta, Coca-Cola argued that it followed the guidelines given by NAFDAC, so the court no fit do anything, so they ordered NAFDAC to pay for putting people's life at risk, till date I don't use drugs with softdrinks because of that case....
Also d man should have asked questions from the regulatory body in the UK before exporting, Coca-Cola also said Ingredients in our drink were more active because of the climate......I'm sure you can now export Sha, d case made NAFDAC sit up

100% lies. Which country will allow you bring in goods that will interfere with the ones in their markets? They will be sizes at the airport if he landed with them. If he intended to ship them in, did he get an import licence? If he got a licence and paid all the import duties on the goods, there's no way he can sell it cheaper than market value. You think it's easy to take a mega cooperation to court? Those that successfully did had solid cases and the funds to follow through. The story is pure fiction
it's not fiction, it actually happened... NAFDAC was made to pay search Adelu fijabi vs Nigerian bottling company

Stop talking nonsense. 2 units of their currency. So why are they not earning 250,000 units of their currency monthly?

The price of that should be benchmarked against the average salary there.
the person ur trying to school is even more sound than u.......hv u tried to think about minimum wage and dollar or currency rate difference between the two countries?.........u will find out that amount of purchase is of no effect to their disposable income ........the norminal value and real value of their currencies btw Nigeria and Canada is based on ..... minimum wage rate ...nd currency differential rate which automatically make Canada to be better

This is the dumbest stuff I have ever read in a while.

It is obvious you have no idea about minimum wage or the concept of money
Like at least 80% of 9ja folks.

Reason some don't value money relatives abroad send them.

They think $100 is just like 9ja N100. shocked shocked
I have heard it from peeps, who by 9ja standards, are well educated.

I entered a mall in Toronto to.buy coke and the amount will amaze you. Two dollar and forty nine cent ($2.49).

Using the price of 50cl Coke in Canada versus Nigerian which is about Four Hundred naira (N400), I am suspecting that the ingredients are different combination. It means the Coke sold in Nigeria malls and shop are adultereted or of less ingredients.

I have attached the receipt of the Coke for verification in case you doubt..

You always make me laugh. You're declaring something that actually happened lies because of lack of information and knowledge. You're in the media space, why not do some research before saying some things.

For your information, the case is real. Nigerian Coca-Cola products no be am like that. It's why I don't drink it whenever I visit this country. In fact, I stopped taking soda many years ago.

And the one sold in US is what?
Turns out Nigeria own is healthier!😆 See it below

I have no issues with the price. Quality is the keyword. Call a bottle of coke, a bottle of coke. Refreshing, nourishing and nutritious. I am sure it's not a poison and approved by the counties standard Food association. You know what I mean.
You don't know what you talking about.
Coke is far from nourishing and nutritious

When dollar to naira was 1 - 1 would you same the same? I got a special light in Europe at 45 euro 5 years ago. Today it's 50 euro.

The same light in Nigeria 5 years ago was 18,000 naira. But now it's 110,000 naira. So can u compare?

That's what we get When an economy is depending solely on importation and u s d.

As for indomie, look at the list of ingredients (always do this for any food) look at the e- numbers (E621or Monosoldium Glutamate, E627 etc …indomie contains 9 E-numbers) some associated with things like colorectal cancer and google what they are.
