I paid 104k in total when I registered myself and paid through the portal.

I collected my passport yesterday even though it was ready since. Did capturing 6th January, just had time to go collect it yesterday.

I met with someone that did capturing is March and collected his yesterday too.

You can use birth certificate issued by NPC if your date of birth is from 1992. Otherwise, use age declaration.

(Birth Certificate (certificate issued by the National Population Commission shall be required from applicants whose date of birth is with effect from Dec 1992)

You can do it yourself, just pick renewal and under renewal pick exhausted page and you just need to provide all necessary documents required for renewal....so you can do it yourself.

Same process, only you have to fill up form online make payment as renewal, indicating reason for and place for the renewal of the passport. Then submit to your closest Nigerian embassy (if you are outside Nigeria) or to Nigerian immigration center in your state.

Good evening I want to apply for 10 years passport renewal and I just noticed that the name on my birth certificate is liadi yahyah akanbi olaseinde while the name on my passport and NIN is liadi adewale yahyah can these affect my application and also please where can I do these local government something.

You can do the NPC birth certificate online and it's very fast once you made payment and fill out the necessary information... Since the name on your NIN and passport is the same, this NPC birth certificate will use the name and arrangements on NIN for the new birth certificate attestation.. Just search NPC attestation on google.

My money got wasted last year after going through DIY (not to talk of several trips to Kaduna from Zaria and the kidnappings happening along that corridor).

Also, does the Zaria office now issue passports?, I've never been there.

A lot is different now. Follow the online process, you only need to go there for capturing.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to do the birth attestation on Npc website and I need court affidavit so I apply for affidavit of correction of name on portal.fhc.gov.ng am waiting for the affidavit to be approved before I go on to apply with it on Npc website

You should go to the secretariat in your local government area to get your local government letter.
