You might find it hard to believe, I’ve been rejecting island trips for more than 2 yrs now. From mainland if you see island trip, the price go look huge and most drivers will jump at it.

when you finish collect money. You go begin receive trips to places wey you no sabi, some useless area na so so sand and water. (If you sabi island routes you no get issues) Not to mention that lekki epe traffic, when you wan come mainland back you go begin find wetin no lost 😂

If you sabi mainland road well, i will advise you to stick 2 mainland trips. On mainland too you go filter trips to places you know say road no worse.
I used to force myself to go to Island when the price made sense but not anymore. Island is full of short trips, the only meaningful long trips that you will do is to Lekki Phase II and Ajah axis which I hate to go because of traffic and inaccessibility.

It gets worse in the evening when you can spend extra 20 minutes just to make a turn from one side of the road to the other.

And Google maps flops so well in locating those estates in Phase II. Due to the fact that most of those estates are interlinked but they used gate to block the access.

I work on the mainland only. I only avoid Ikorodu, Alimosho, Apapa, Festac axis.

during closing hour in the evening when there use to be alot of traffic, I still goto island and I don't experience the traffic, only those who knows road will know what I'm saying.

reason why I avoid mainland trips totally is because of bad roads, is it possible to do a trip of 15k within mainland, any trip within mainland that will cost 15k without surge will definitely take you to outskirts of mainland, and you may find it difficult getting a trip out of that zone.

I prefer taking a trip of 18k to 20k from berger to orchid and look for another from orchid to ikeja for another 15k to 20k.

while I close for the day😁
I'm that lazy now, I don't hustle around anymore.

I have always wondered what business the NPF has with vehicle tint.
Something ideally supposed to be the responsibility of the FRSC/VIS.

The tint even made my vehicle ugly.

Will tear it off and opt for window shades.

I'll rather drink a bottle of wine than pay npf #14,000.

I checked your posts and it seems you always comment few minutes after someone reports or post a scam incident here on Nairaland, are you sure you are not the scammer? Becuase your moniker is quite new to know alot about this "supposed" scammer operations.

While this is true, sometimes you might be lucky to get a trip back immediately to the mainland.

For example, yesterday, I did a trip from Opebi to Agungi. Almost immediately, I got a trip back to Jibowu.

However, I only go to the Island on Sundays or Public holidays when the road is free grin

While filling out the online registration, I selected "factory tint" as my option but didn’t upload any supporting documents. I hope that won’t be an issue?

Also, I noticed there’s a mention of a non-refundable fee, so I decided to pause the process until I get some clarity.

this is exactly where i stopped.
meanwhile i saw somewhere either on this nairaland or twitter where people were saying they were paying as much as 20k to policemen before they could attend to them. some said if u no pay, they will just look away from you and the stress of coming the next day with the vehicle to that place will make you cough out the money.

Thanks boss,

I asked because i got a text saying there's a violation on my car and a link to check. I clicked on the link and i saw pictures plus a hand recorded video, like someone video the car while parked. Also this is on a sunday.

I open the website payvis to check for fine but it says 0 result. So I'm a bit confused.

i honestly have no idea about this one o, like you received a violation text and you saw a video of your car through the link sent to you but you can't find any fine on payvis.ng site?

that's strange.
