Sometimes Nigerians think big grammar equals better understanding. An average American will use basic non complicated, regular conversational grammar to communicate clearly while we want to Obahiagbon our way and think we are better at the language

I swear, even the ones that choose to write at a technical level, you just can't compare, they blow us out of the water. You only need check college essays from their highschool students take know what's up.

And I don't even know why we're obsessed about countries relaxing requirements for people to enter their country. What percentage of Nigerians can test for English at a band 5 or even 4 level of testing...so they should remove English requirements so that every Okoye would enter their country and begin to struggle to assimilate. No surprise sha, we're a country that isn't used to planning at that level, so we expect other countries to operate like that.
