Well, it's primarily the issues of faulty wiring, loose connections, overloading the circuit which means using too many devices on a single circuit unit, water contact is also part of it.

To avoid further occurrence, try to do some tracing into the wiring, maybe call an electrician to come help you check. Trust me, there's definitely a fault somewhere.

Lastly, Samsungs phones are sometimes known for burning like this, that's why you must always use only Samsung certified charger, wired cord.

Good evening nairalands, please who can explain this to me, as I am tonally scared and confused. I started charging this phone when I got home from work say around to eight. Because I slept early after taking dinner, only to wake up now and went straight to the parlor to check my phone qhere I was charging it. First I notice this smell when an electronic device is buring or has burned, I quickly checked my PC and unplug it and I went straight to my phone saw it was just 60% and was not charging but I saw that the charger was smelling so I unplug and perceive the phone n the odour was every strong. Only to check the back and I saw this. I quickly check the charger with my wife's phone also A16 Samsung and it was working. I later test it again with my phone n was working pls what would have caused these. Picture of the phone and charger below.

Perhaps you the circuit that should flow into the charging panel, escaped and its current touched the board and the charger was now bounced the way they bounced two people at the Vatican.


Brother, your charger is bad. Please do not use it again. Panel of Samsung will decide on it shortly.


PS. If you have been using Type C laptop Charger to charge phone, please stop. The excess volatage is being loaded on the panel or board of the phone and obviously since the voltage is higher, it will heat and be susceptible to burning.

Your case is that of over charging the battery and possibility the battery was weak already coupled with the a possible voltage fluctuation

As an advice:
Buy original Samsung!
If you know someone abroad, better ask him to buy you a Samsung over there. A well used one is better than some of these Samsung phones being sold in Nigeria (especially the cheaper ones)
