What we mean by Torres flopped is that he could not duplicate the success he had at Liverpool . How many goals did he score with Chelsea compared to Liverpool. Same we can say about the great Hazard - he was a Real Madrid flop .
As an example - Victor left Napoli and is still doing his thing with Gala.

Torres was a flop at Chelsea.....he was even benched for Drogba.... they got him as a replacement for Drogba, but ended up flopping and was shipped back to factory ( Atletico) ...reason they replaced him with Diego Costa

Most good strikers in Chelsea were loved and cherished by fans from the starting of their careers in the club. Drogba, diego costa.
Torres gained late dying minute respect at Chelsea.
Even if he did not carry major trophies at Liverpool, he still played his best football at anfield!

Usually after the AFCON. This year it starts in December 21st through January so the awards should be in February or early march as it's one of the criteria for selecting winners

Turkey is not among the best FIVE EUROPEAN countries. As for Jayjay, he couldn't have won against an Eto'o who was on fire in Barcelona or wherever, with a league trophy and AFCON trophy to back it up when Okocha is trophyless.
