Lush100:Absolutely Gen Z Arsenal fans are shitty. They don't know the difference between winning a playoff final and winning titles. Some would prefer we win Championship qualification than finish second in the PL |

The best way to know an unserious club and fanbase is how they react to winning trophies or other teams winning them. Chelsea had so much success under Abramovich because of how they treated every competition. The fans, the owner, and the team go into every competition with the mentality of winning and never undermining anyone. Here is an example. After winning the Champions league in 2012, chelsea had a not too good season in 2013 in the champions league and had to relegate to Europa league for finishing 3rd. Rival fans mocked them including myself. And what did chelsea do, they went to the Europa league with the aim of winning. Their fans and their owner demanded they win it and Chelsea won it; adding to their trophy cabinet and bragging right against rival clubs. At the end, Chelsea has won every major tournament winnable and are on the verge of winning a newly added competition. But here at my club, we see being among the top 4 in the league has success. The new information now is that placing second in the league and getting to the semifinals of champions league is better than winning a trophy. Funny enough, some of our deluded fanbase look down on a trophy we haven’t even won in our history. Interestingly, many of these same fanbase still hate Emery till date for losing that same Europa league trophy to Chelsea in the final. In addition, our messiah coach failed to win it for 3 good seasons. Tell the same fans to show us the trophy they highly rate in our trophy cabinet, we have none to show for the past 22 years. How do we win big when we don’t even value the lesser trophies or acknowledge that other teams have done well for winning them. It’s not like we are Madrid or City in recent times who have had dominating wins in recent decade. If una like, celebrate another second place next season while other clubs win trophies, na una know because me I’ve given up. |
