This one way madness is what I don't understand most times..What would it take you to drive responsibly seeing as you're even carrying your kids.. Experienced it in Port Harcourt and was speechless... |

CrystalTiger:The way people always drive one-way in Port Harcourt dey always muse me. As a Lagos boy, I'm always in awe when I see their chaotic driving and always wonder if they don't have any agency like LASTMA that can arrest motorists doing that. The crazy thing is they even do it on some of those new Wike roads |

BlueRayDick:Port Harcourt is the worst ![]() Once they spend one second in traffic, everybody don enter one way ![]() I was there last month, and I couldn't understand the level of lawlessness. |

BlueRayDick:For a city as big as that, I was surprised to see that kind level of lawlessness. Any small thing, one way. This video we analyzed is very rampant there. I use Uber. The guy enter one way, because according to him, the U turn was far. |

izzou:Even me, company-oned car carry me face one-way , then I saw road safety ahead. I thought the driver will get arrested and he will be reprimanded when he gets to the office when they find out he was arrested on one-way. To my surprise the road safety guys didn't stop him. I then asked if they don't arrest them for one-way in PH ni? He looked at me confused and there I got my answer. Like it is normal thing to do for them. If it were to be Lagos ehn, the kind query he will collect after government ask for N150k to release the vehicle after arrest lasan. |

Believe these people at your own peril, The same Elder0001 / Temporaryhansel who bragged about living abroad was equivalently begging for seventh-hand phones on Nairaland. Fake live and pretense, and probably still squats with friends. But he claims #15 million is nothing.

izzou:I remember this story very well, the guy was shedding 'crocodile' tears after he was arrested. Too many Nigerians are lawless, and it all boils down to the lack of consequence. Oyinbo man follows rules because he knows the consequences if he doesn't, from tickets to fines to jail terms. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 11:34am On May 21, 2025 |
yewit37486:The bigger problem is : Even law enforcement agents are lawless themselves . For example now a whole lot of Nigerians drink and drive which a crime anywhere in the world , but that law is hardly enforced in Nigeria because even the policemen drink on duty . There are several videos of policemen with bottles of alcohol littering all over the internet . The crazy one is the police Area “A” headquarters (Lion Building ) on Lagos island has the popular Campbell hotel and several drinking joints surrounding it. During the day like now u will see policemen in uniform drinking alcohol of various brands and smoking with rifles either placed on their laps or by their side. These same officers will rise from the drinking joints to go carry out arrests and raids . Some will go to the roads to mount road blocks . How do u expect such policemen to uphold the law ? I have been in a bus before when the conductor jumped down , approached the traffic police officer with bribe to allow the bus follow one-way around that Oregun/Daystar Church in Ikeja . The police officer obliged and our bus enter the one-way after which they blocked the road again after him. Law enforcement sef Dey encourage people to break law in Nigeria |

Genocide is the most abused word in 21st century. Israel destroyed Syria defense in a couple of days after assad regime fell ,if they wanted Palestinians dead ,hostages will be the least of their problems, they'll literally break Egypt fence and swing the red sea to escape Israel wrath. If you want to know what is genocide go and read what ottoman empire did to one million Armenians ,that's what genocide looks like. |

Ballzproblem2:So people have to wait for Israel to completely or almost completely erase Palestine before they speak up? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 12:33pm On May 21, 2025 |
Theflint1:Why did Palestine strike Israel first? Don't price market you cannot buy. This is equality. Arguing about this is like a feminist asking why a man retaliate a slap from a woman, is that not the equality they seek? Same goes for Hamas and Palestine, they fvked around and should continue finding out. |

iamoyindamola:So if that policeman fell on that slab and died, would you still call it one way? Well, he was charged with Attempted murder and he has done 6 months in prison Even if the Oyo case was here, without any shot fired, his case already left the WhatsApp group of One way, when he was driving recklessly to escape. I am just letting you know what's outside. Make we no dey argue Nigeria matter like it's a straightforward rule. In road rules, there's a thin line between one way, or parking wrongly, with Attempted murder. |

izzou:I am letting you know the man deserves every punishment except losing a son, no matter how you look at it The man that trip the police overboard posed more danger than the one that his son was killed yet the policemen handled it very well 2 wrongs can't make a right Especially knowing these useless policemen are terrible in shooting, I am very sure he wasn't aiming for kill but because alcohol have saturated his brain, he can't hit a target |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 1:17pm On May 21, 2025 |
A lot of Nigerian women believe women should be exempted from paying bills. They hate bills with passion when the money is coming from them. I wonder how this started.

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:22pm On May 21, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:The man that tripped the policeman over the bridge was doing the exact same thing the one in Oyo did If there was a wall instead of a bridge, he would have smashed the policeman to it; Instant death. I am not justifying the death of his son, but he's the architect of his problem. He passed one way and was caught. Why not pay the fine and move on? Is the car worth all the stress of losing his son? |

Once a policeman stops you and you refuse to stop, all bets are off even in the US The good police will chase you and use their cars to ram your car even at the risk of causing you a fatal accident If you type in Google "Driver/man/woman dies in high speed police chase" you will see hundreds of news about it The hothead police will pull out his gun and shot at your car aiming for the tires. There are likely to be times when "aiming for tires have actually hit a passenger" Police might be dismissed or charged but who don die, don die. My Naija police experience plus news I read everyday ensures I make any encounter with the police as uneventful as possible, My goal is to get home and I am sure the police too wants to get home without drama |
