So, this morning around 6:16am; one of them posted his wife on WhatsApp status to wish her a happy birthday, and that was the last time we get any means of communication with them.

We tried to call five of them it was switched off, both on WhatsApp and phone calls. At about 10:30am today, one of their phones rang severally and no one pick up the call and later the phone was switched off till now

May God protect them on their journey. In the past, whenever you get to Onitsha from the North/South/ West, you call those that bade you goodbye to rejoice with you as you are now home and in a peaceful area but now when you get to Onitsha from North/South/West, you call the people that bade you farewell to join you in prayers as you just entered a danger zone!

I'm from Anambra and it saddens me hearing bad news like this in my state. We are not known to be like this and and it still baffles me how criminality entered so deep and continue to grow like this. Things we hear in other places before are now happening in our beloved land daily. May God help us to flush away criminals and criminal elements since security agents has failed us.

I think they have left Anambra State going to Uyo from the Story read here...

They entered Asaba by 7pm, ate food and continued to Onitsha in Anambra State.... because that is the first place after head bridge...

By 10:20pm, they were reached and there was a conversation, couldn't one of them say where they lodged in Onitsha or what or how they finally found where to lodge At least there should be an information from the conversation...

By 6:16am , one of them posted on Facebook the birthday of his wife, showing they were still relaxed wherever they are with no issues...

And that's the last time they were communicated....

For them to be going to Uyo, at exactly 7am in the morning, they should have been on their way to the park to board a bus going to Uyo Akwaibom State...

Two things can be possible here.....
Assuming if they mentioned where they lodged in Onitsha, then Police will trace the hotel and know if they logged out in the morning...

If Yes, then , Onitsha in the morning is not a dead zone , no one can harass anybody...

So definitely, they boarded a bus and left Onitsha to Uyo...

Let the search also extend to Motor accidents , hospitals and kidnap cases outside Anambra State as no one can kidnap them in the morning in Onitsha without the news going round which is equally impossible...

Precisely. The report is not telling us how they travelled. Whether by public transport or personal vehicle.
